A MUST TRY! This small place packs a great punch. We had the combination Pad Thai, Combination fried Rice, Orange Chicken, gyoza, Thai Tea, Lychee Tea, and Butterfly Soda.Gyoza was great. Crispy, perfectly cooked in and out. Seasoned well, my son LOVED them. The Pad Thai was one of the best I've ever had. The noodles were cooked perfectly along with a well-balanced sauce, sweet, sour, and a little spicy! So good!Combination Fried Frice, my son had this one. He loved it, so much so that he almost finished it all before I got to try a bite. But, I got a bite so I could do a proper review. For fried rice fans, this one is 4.8/5, almost perfect.Orange Chicken was crispy and packed full of flavor but not too sweet, which is exactly how we like it. Perfectly cooked! All the drinks were perfectly made. Service was prompt, friendly, and super helpful. Only set back was the space to eat. There isn't much room, but it's perfect for Togo or for just a couple of people.

This place is great! Their style of Thai cooking is fresh, not over-seasoned, and their mango milk tea with boba was DELICIOUS, even better than ShareTea's. The owners are so nice too. I can't wait to try more of their options!

Great Thai food. Hands down the best brown sugar boba I’ve had in OKC! Butterfly soda was really good too!

The large chicken rice was great. HUGE portion. Fried and steamed chicken are both great, as is the rice, and all three sauces.

Friendly staff in a cozy location. I love the pink soda drink, very refreshing. I’ve had the fried chicken plate and spring rolls and both are made fresh and have a lot of flavor. I love the sauces, soup, and cucumber slices that come with the chicken and rice, all provide a nice balance of flavors and textures. I usually have two meals from the regular size.

I cant speak for the teas, but the only entree they offer is amazing. Not to mention, the lady that served me was super polite and her smile felt genuine, so the service was great.

Kao Mun Gai is a cozy Thai eatery and boba shop just north of 36th & Western. They do 3 things, and they do them all very well. They do bubble/boba tea (highly recommend the Thai iced tea and the anchan soda). They make a delicious pad Thai with your choice of proteins. I could eat pad Thai every day and probably never get tired of it.And lastly, they make Kao Mun Gai, which in addition to being the name of the place, is also the name of their tasty Thai chicken rice dish - served with 3 sweet or savory sauces to choose from. You won’t leave hungry, so go say hi!Parking: There are a limited number of free street parking spots. It can be challenging depending on the time of day.

Was running errands near this place, had no idea what it was but as I left the store I was in, I smelled the aroma of their delicious food which was two stores over & figured I had to try it.Got the fried chicken & steamed rice with green tea lemonade & everything was delicious. The fried chicken cooked almost perfectly, the steamed rice has good flavor as it’s cooked in chicken broth, & the green tea lemonade hit the spot & was light & refreshing. But the highlight of my meal would have to be the orange colored sauce which I think is their version of a sweet & sour with a little spice to it. I loved how it had the added spice, chili pepper flavors in the sweet & sour sauce, it pairs beautifully with the fired chicken & rice.Food came out pretty fast & very fresh.Would highly recommend & I will be back. 9 or 9.5 out of 10. Only thing that could be improved would be the drink prices & possibly the soup but still not complaining as the food is reasonably priced.

I love when a menu has just a few items sometimes. The chicken was fire and I don’t even like pad Thai but tried theirs and it is GOOD! Careful on the spice to put on the side tho. I love that they have unique flavored boba teas. Not the best but Different from the other boba shops. The cashier was friendly.
