The overall quality of the banh mi was less than I expected. The bread tasted like it had been purchased at Super Cao Nguyen, frozen, and then thawed out and overly toasted. Honestly I expected the bread to be the best part considering it's a bakery. The meat and veggies were fine, meaning the meat tasted good and the veggies were fresh. However the thing that makes banh mi good is its fresh crispy light and airy bread. If that's off then you might as well just go to Lee's.

i was attracted to the vibe of this shopping area due to the mural in the parking lot. i am originally from california and took for granted while living in cali the diversity of the state where you can have really good food from all parts of asia while living in the state. then i lived in other parts of the usa for half a decade where asian food was severely lacking or nearly nonexistant other than americanized chinese food. due to this reason i realized i love my culture and also appreciate asian culture of various different countries moreso than i realized before. last week i noticed this place and wanted to try it so i kept a mental note to revisit and i did today. the noodle dish i had included dumplings and chinese style pork. the menu was written in vietnamese. i was not sure if this is a vietnamese place or a vietnamese version of a taiwanese place. the broth of my noodle soup was somewhat sweet and made it quite interesting hinted slightly of pho but wasnt pho. it was an interesting dish but i am confused about the origins of the soup. it will surely be interesting for many others and enjoyable but i did notice the portion left me hungry afterwards so i ordered a sandwich to go. the number 4 banh mi was truly satiating, of good portion and quite tasty. if i rate the banh mi alone it would be 5 stars. the portion of the noodle soup that i felt was somewhat basic in quality aside from the interesting broth would be rated about 3.5 stars out of 5. the noodle soup and the banh mi came out to $18. noodle soup was $11 on the menu and the banh mi was $5.50 on the menu. this is a place worth trying as it is a mom and pop location that carries a very distinct down to earth vibe. it will be a good experience for those in the area that want to try something new and escape to a far away exotic land in asia momentarilly albeit in culinary experience during your brief lunch. they only take cash or venmo or zelle. no cards, no checks and no apple pay.

This tiny Vietnamese restaurant at the center of OKC Asian District has always been my family's favorite, especially my brother's. When he's in town, he would always want to go here for the "cháo lòng." Cháo lòng is Vietnam's bold and hearty pork offal congee. Containing pork bone broth, rice, and various pork offal (liver, kidney, spleen, intestines, hearts, and optional congealed blood cubes), the ingredients are simmered until tender. The dish is served warm with deep fried dough called "quây." I am not a huge fan of the dish, so I would often get wonton soup or something else at Lang's. My brother would also get Vietnamese baguettes to bring back to KS as well which are alright. It's really a place where you come in for something specific like a birthday cake or certain dish. May not be a good place for general dining.

BBQ Pork and Assorted Ham Bahn Mi .Call ahead 10 minutes or so unless you don't mind waiting a few minutes, but the baguette is perfectly toasted and flakey.

It's not pho but it's really magnificent, definitely a hidden gem in the Asian district. I would not have known if it wasn't for my friends taking me here.

If you want the best wonton soup in the okc area. I personally order the wonton soup with the BBQ pork. They cook the noodles well and the wontons are the best tasting in the city.Heads up they only take cash/Venmo

One of the best Bahn mi sandwiches I ever had. Very delicious, and certainly homemade and created with care. They also offer a variety of different Bahn mi styles and it is also the primary thing on their menu, so you know it is their specialty. You can also purchase various baked goods, Vietnamese sweets, pastries and cakes (also likely you can get custom birthday cakes made to order here), as well as numerous Asian beverages like grass jelly drinks, canned coffee and the sort - but again, their real strength are their Bahn mis. Another one of those must-experience places in the Asian District!
