Cool atmosphere, good music. But if you're like me and hopping around, I came in at about 11pm. The first drink took 15min to get to me at 11:15p, and that was fine. The next drink (and it was slow) took 30min. I didn't say anything so it could be on me, but even the server acknowledged how it took a while for the bartender to make it.Then, the place tried to close the place down at 1:15am. They lined up at the end of the room, and they waited next to me to push me out. Passive aggressiveness to a whole nother level, I promise I'm not exaggerating. For example, they turned off and glitched music to make things awkward for you to leave.You see that they advertise as being somewhere that closes at 2am, right? So, I found all of this realyyyy irritating. Does Ned's not realize that they can advertise themselves as a 12:00am if they're too tired for 2am? Just irks me.Again, truly truly: the vibe is great. The building, insides, live music, all of that is great. Just the people that work here kind of suck. Maybe make it your first place if you bounce around like me?

First time visiting. Went for Sunday Brunch menu. We might have been behind a larger party, but overall the service was frankly disappointing. It took several minutes for the owner/manager to even take a drink order. Food was okay. I had to go grab my own salt and pepper from another table. Never had anyone check on us after the food was delivered. Only had a refill offer once we had finished everything and needed the check.General demeanor of the staff and management seemed disorganized and chaotic. Maybe 20 customers total in the building.I'll be back to give it a second shot maybe for some live music, but brunch was underwhelming.

I've been hearing about this place for years and I've had their catering before so I was excited to go try their brunch today. The place itself has a fun vibe and I bet it's great in the evening. We were really underwhelmed with the food and the service today though. There was no organization at all. We stood around waiting for anyone to greet us or tell us to grab a seat. Once seated no one took our drink order even though the owner/manager was behind the bar talking to us. When we finally got our drink and food order taken, the food came in a timely manner. The girl who dropped off our food didn't bring the fruit that came with my meal and didn't even ask if we needed anything else. No one at all checked on us until we were done eating. I had to stop someone and ask for my fruit cup and my partner had to get salt and pepper shakers off another table since no one came around that we could ask. I got the shrimp and grits and he got the chicken fried steak. He was pleased with his meal. I was extremely underwhelmed, almost disappointed with mine. The shrimp and the sauce were good but the grits had no flavor at all. We will come back at some other point to try again but it definitely didn't leave a good first impression.

Went to hear Lacy Saunders music...only had 1 glass tea server did not offer to give me change back...tab $3.24 paid $5.24....I usually tip but this was ridiculous......Food is good here but I had already eaten plus kitchen closed.

We finally had lunch at Ned's today and so glad we did. We didn't take pictures of the food but should have. We had the arincini, onion rings, cheeseburger and fries. ALL were excellent! We look for good onion rings everywhere and so far, Ned's are the best we've had. They put a seasoning on them that is to die for. The burger was big and juicy and cooked perfectly medium rare. You can tell that they pay attention to every detail of their food. The service is impeccable and the vibe is so retro-cool. We will definitely be back!

Been here many times and the food is literally mind blowing every time, but the atmosphere make it even more special. I always feel like I walked back into time 40 years. I can say enough about Ned's Starlite Lounge. A laid-back unpretentious little gem. It's that warm neighborhood restaurant and lounge. A great menu selection offering a variety of dishes to choose from. Often with live entertainment. NED'S STARLIGHT LOUNGE should be a regular stop on your dine out experiences. Don't miss out.... they offer brunch as well. Call them as well for your next catered event.
