The food was delicious! Very small inside so we ordered to go and waited outside for it to be ready.

It was good but if you don't speak Spanish it may be a little difficult

I eat here several times a month, and the food and service are consistently fantastic. The Puerco Rojo is the best I've had in the US, and I've tried it in OK(incl. Tarahumara's), TX, NM, and CO. Has a strong family restaurant vibe with very limited parking and seating. I'm usually the only Caucasian in attendance. If you're looking for complimentary cheese sauce and mild tomato salsa and want to order cheese enchiladas with no onions topped with cheese sauce, this isn't the place.

Easily one of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to! The food was fantastic & filling. VERY satisfied customers, would 100% eat here again when in OKC!

Maximum occupancy is 17! That's how small the dining area is. The door is on Walker, and you're in the dining area once you enter. You'll see two doorways after you get inside. One goes to the host stand/kitchen, and the other goes to the restroom. The kitchen doesn't have a door on it, and the restroom does If they don't come out to seat you then just walk up to the kitchen doorway and peek in there. After you're seated they'll take your order at the table, but after you're done eating you'll need to go up to the kitchen to pay They make their own corn and flour tortillas and food from scratch. The spices and flavors of their recipes are unique and the meats are super tender. The rice is fluffy, tender, and spiced so well, and rhe beans are creamy with some of the most unctuous bean flavor of all the beans I've ever had They serve a red and green salsa with the chips and they're both notably spicy, but if you're sensitive to spicy stuff then it may be a challenge for you. I enjoyed them and ended up using them on my gordita and guisada tacos Looking forward to trying the rest of the meats, and other traditional dishes I'm hoping they get a paper towel dispenser/holder for the restroom because using paper towels that are sitting on top of a toilet is kinda undesirable to me

If you like local and simple this is the place for you. It has a small indoor dining area and an outdoor patio. This was my first time to try the place and was a little disappointed that my enchiladas were not very hot on the interior but the eggs and beans were delicious and hot. They also serve their salsa warm. I'll give them another try.
