Shoguns is great, we go there for many family celebrations. The service isn't bad or good it can be slow. The food is plentiful and on average very good, depends on the chef you get, some are better than others. Our guy tonight was having a n off night or was just tired. He didn't perform great with the fire tricks or tossing the egg like moody do, it's pretty standard for any hibachi places I've been. The food was slightly under seasoned tonight but still great. The chef was still friendly just a bit off.

Kudo to the waitress and cook as both were professional and great. I would give them both 5 stars.The 1 star comes poor management and front staff. We had a reservation at 6:15 and were seated fairly quickly after check in. The issue is neither person at the front told us they were running an 1:30 to 2 hrs behind on cooks to tables! By the time they told us it was too late to find another spot for dinner and their “compensation” was $20 off. We have a young child and the lack of sympathy, transparency, and accountability from one the “managers” was remarkable.I always had great memories here from growing up in the area and made it a point to visit when in town but sadly after this horrible experience and lack of transparency…I’ll never be returning.

Horrible service from "manager" who somehow forgot to book reservation for 2 made on 12/9/23 @ 7:30 for 12/16/23 @6:15 & if I hadn't called to confirm I would've been turned away at the door. No attempt to correct mistake, but continued to let me know a party of 8 was booked at my time. Surprise for my mom ruined at her favorite restaurant.

I had The Royal Combination (fillet and shrimp) and it was great! The fillet was extremely tender and everything tasted wonderful. Great fried rice as well.Dietary restrictions: They accommodated my friend’s mushroom allergy easily

We have been coming here on our anniversary for the last 15 years. Sadly that will change after tonight. We made a reservation 7 and our chef did not arrive at our table until 7:57. We were sat in the back where it was extremely hot, All of the chairs were broken, the waitress said maybe 2 words to us and the place looked like it had not been dusted in years. When we told the manager we no longer wished to wait after an hour, he tried to give us our drink ticket! No sir, I will not be paying for my two ice teas and we will not be returning.
