We love UJ! Been eating here since early 90’s beginning in Texas. The frozen swirls (1/2 frozen margarita/half frozen sangria) and fajitas are what kept us going back. Sadly our last experience was met with several changes. One, they now serve their frozen swirls with half frozen margarita but the sangria is not frozen anymore. This makes the swirl lose its frozen consistency which mixes the flavors. Very disappointing. The frozen sangria machine still sits on the counter empty. We haven’t been back. We’ve found other Mexican restaurants that serve frozen swirls. Please let us know when you bring back the frozen swirls.

I was not going to leave a rating but Google keeps asking me to because we made a reservation online. We were in OKC for my daughter's bday. She wanted Mexican food and Julio's looks delicious. We browsed the menu online and decided on the chocolate pinata to help celebrate. We were all excited. We got to the restaurant about 20 minutes early and tried to find parking. There was nothing anywhere! If you aren't local this is in an outside mall type place. There was some bouncy house obstacle course across the street. All these places share one small parking lot! We couldn't even find another parking lot to walk from. We spent 30+ minutes fighting the other 20 cars driving in circles for the few spaces to open up every 5 minutes. We missed our reservation, I called but they wouldn't hold it so we chose another place and we were more than happy we did. It was a horrible experience and stressed everyone of us out!

My wife and I were able to get away for a few minutes and have a quiet dinner with just the two of us. We shared the Bacon Wrapped Shrimp. So good!

Sat down at the bar, never brought me chips and salsa. Waitress brought me a glass of water then took off to wait on a couple that came in automatically brought them chips and salsa even asked what they wanted to drink. Finally got another waiters attention and ordered my drink. Just a bad experience won't be back. Food was ok

This was our first time at Uncle Julio’s and it was superb. We are in OKC for my husband and I to celebrate our birthdays and we love Mexican food and decided to give it a try. It’s beautiful weather so we sat outside. First the chips & salsa. The chips a light, crisp and fresh. The salsa fantastic flavor. Maddy was our service. Friendly, efficient and overall excellent job. We were ask by a couple of other staff (possibly managers) if we are enjoying it and if we needed anything. We live in BA and haven’t been to Uncle Julio’s there but will definitely be going. This was great choice. So glad we chose this one.Parking: I have pulled chicken crispy talk and cheese enchilada. The chili sauce on enchilada was delicious flavor, not greasy meat. My husband had chicken fajita soft tacos and he said they were equally delicious. Perfect birthday chiice

A non- server stood to the side, stacking dishes and glared, frowning, watching us.We had 4 women in our group, 2 teenage girl.Became scared as to why he was doing this. Servers were very good. We were the only customers there. A party of 10.
