“We made the trek to Owasso to check out Tacowasso. I was pretty satisfied. I ordered the chicken Nachos which were great, I also ordered a chicken Gringa which was amazing! My wife ordered the taco bowl, she said it was great! I will definitely be back, this is out side so if you don't want to wait outside call ahead. It's a safe area if you do like to be outside.“
“This was our first time eating here, and we really enjoyed it! We got the wet burrito and the shrimp tacos, and they were both delicious! The chips, salsa, and our main dishes all tasted really fresh. We really loved the atmosphere, the waitresses were nice, and the service was great! We will definitely be back!“
“I wish I could rate this restaurant 6-star if the system allowed. Delicious food. Every thing we ordered is beyond our expectations. Fast food style but quality is better than most big restaurants. The staffs are warm, polite and considerable, offering extra tortillas before we thought about it. Salad bars are clean and fresh with unlimited supplies. No doubt we will come back again with more friends when we visit Sacramento area in the future.“
“Not only was this the best Tex-Mex I've ever had as an elevated Mexican restaurant, but the staff was awesome enough to photo bomb us with out our knowledge. I think that is the funniest surprise in a photo I've had yet lol. You guys are truly awesome!“
“Edited to add:*I went inside to eat this evening(I usually order to go)... and it was a delightful experience. The woman who took my order was so sweet and patient, the atmosphere was super fun(great music, cool decor), spotlessly clean space AND the super cutie-cute guy behind the counter(perhaps the manager?) brought me my taco(instead of calling my name to go retrieve them) .*The most delicious, decadent and inventive tacos I've ever eaten ?!“
“There was not a single bite taken that did not provide unbelievable flavor. The dipping broth was immaculate. The tacos were packed with perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, carnivore satisfying portions of beef, accompanied with cheese, cilantro and onion. Lime wedges, radishes and a green and red sauce on the side to compliment the perfection. The red sauce delivered the heat I was looking for. This meal goes on record as the best single Mexican food meal I have ever had! Period!I challenge anyone to find better Birria Tacos in Tulsa. Try if you must, but it ain’t gonna happen!Yelp Sep 17, 2022 by Spike Speedwell“
“The steak was flavorless but the soup was good with it. It needed more cilantro. Faijitas was good according to my kid lol my husband got a burger there is so much stuff on it he couldn’t eat half the burger because it fell apart soggy so definitely need to improve on food quality.“
“Approximately a year ago, I discovered Et Al. in Tulsa's culinary scene, renowned for its collaborative approach to diverse tasting menus and pop-up concepts like Butter Bar and "Sufra." Led by Chef Chloe Butler, known for her national acclaim, Et Al. prioritizes workplace equality and a team-driven culinary vision. Butter Bar, housed within "Foolish Things Coffee" in downtown Tulsa, offers an urban industrial ambiance with exposed ductwork, brick walls, and dim lighting. Service, led by Chef Butler, embodies teamwork and excellence, with each member contributing to menu conceptualization. The tasting menu at Butter Bar unfolds with courses like a delectable cheese plate, roasted affogato, hot honey passion fruit tart, grilled pineapple tarte tatin, Kakigori, Wok Berries, S'mores, and Cloche. Each dish showcases creativity and flavor complexity, though some, like the roasted affogato, could benefit from better flavor balance. Despite minor flaws, the overall experience at Butter Bar is exceptional, with an atmosphere rating of 18/20, service rating of 20/20, and food rating of 52/60, resulting in an impressive overall score of 90/100.“
“This place was recommended to me by a friend and let me just say the barbacoa here SMACKSS it is so delicious. The lady who is very nice by the way & that makes the food was able to make me empanadas with barbacoa and it was delicious. The asada was pretty good as well. The jamaica is very good too and it seems like it was bottled up by the owners which is very cool. Will definitely be coming back and I highly recommend.“
“My favorite BBQ in Tulsa! I called my order in, and it was ready when I got there in 20 minutes. I got the food for two to-go, which can honestly feed more than two people. It comes with ribs, brisket, sausage, chicken, and baloney. They also give you some pickles, pickled onions, and diced jalapeños, as well as some tortillas, so you can make your own tacos. It also comes with two sides of your choice. I chose esquites (corn) and green chile mac, which were some of the best barbecue sides I've ever had! And there's an area where you can get barbecue sauce as well as plates and utensils.“
“This place was a family friendly business and all the hype when they first opened up and it continued up until recently where the atmosphere changed for the worse. I noticed there were less people than usual and all the food service workers seemed to care less and less about their customers. What a pity, does anyone else feel the same way?“
“The building is where Asana's Café used to be. This restaurant is locally owned by the same family as the one on 21st. They opened this second location back in April 2022. The menus are different though, this is the only location that has a full breakfast menu. Their hours are a bit different as well (this location closes at 6pm as of now). The family is from Jalisco and their menu offers staple Mexican dishes like fajitas, enchiladas and chiles rellenos. Can't wait to try their shrimp ceviche.I first contacted them because I needed to order trays of breakfast tacos for an event. Breakfast tacos are extremely hard to find in Tulsa! After calling 5 different places with no luck, I finally found them. They have them as part of a platter with rice and beans but they were willing to only make the tacos for me. Customer service was extremely friendly, flexible, and helpful! Not only were they willing to make a bunch of tacos for me as a special catering order, but they also opened earlier than usual on a Saturday morning so they would be fresh for the event. They handmade the corn tortillas that morning! I could've just eaten the tortillas by themselves, they were SO good! The tacos had two tortillas, scrambled eggs, chorizo, avocado, combo cheese and sour cream. They were so good! They also made some without chorizo in case of dietary needs. I really appreciated them being flexible and going above and beyond for me. I will be returning soon to try their camarones a la diabla (spicy shrimp) and their full breakfast menu. Their chilaquiles look amazing and they let you have half with green salsa and half with red!“
“You're paying the cheapest price for the best possible experience. That's as good as I can put it. I don't know her name, but she is strong, and does amazing work on my more athletic body. Tell her you want the hard one. She knows where and how to find your knots. I'm a pianist. Her hands on my back are my fingers on a piano. There are some massage therapists that just want to get through the massage. Where the woman here, you can tell that she wants to do the best possible job. And again, she is strong. I wish I wasn't so broke or I'd be paying her $100 a week for an hour each time. That's a $40 tip. I won't go anywhere else. I feel like a new man every time I walk outta there. Will definitely be recommending my basketball acquaintances about her and this place.“
“My husband and I wanted to try something different we stopped by and have some tacos I don't eat meat so I just added beans and and rice my husband had the steak and chicken tacos and he said they were amazing he had a combo it came with 3 tacos with rice and beans and a drink all for $8.00 you can't beat it really good food also the two women working were very sweet and hard work.Vegetarian options: You can minus the meat and add beans and rice to your tacos“
“I was having a big craving today for some Birria tacos. As I was driving to my usual spot, checking out little corners of shopping centers like I do, I noticed this place. I'm not thinking much and continuing my journey to my usual spot. I get there, and they are closed today. I have just a huge hankering for Birria. Somebody help me. I pass two more spots. Both closed. Finally, I remember seeing the sign "The Red Tacos." I thought to myself, "it couldn't hurt to at least stop in and see what they have to offer. " Well, to my luck, it's one of the specialties here at The Red Tacos. I walk in, mouth drooling, and the kind lady, Ms. Allie, at the front, was so nice and patient with me. She directed me to favorites and told me all about the items on the menu. I have found a slice of heaven, and it's The Red Tacos. You are silly not to stop in here and get you a few tacos on your Taco Tuesday. I'll be returning for sure.“
“I love this place. Don't get me started on the SHAKES. I got the "Hey, you guys" shake and it was OREO ICECREAM HEAVEN. My 2 of my younger brothers and my dad all got "The Goonie", and it had straight cotton candy on top! Definitely recommend for a family eat out. ? ? ⭐ 5 stars ⭐ ? ?“
