The food is really good, crab cakes to die for. My only problem is I've never been able to eat the catfish filets in the restaurant because it's still too hot to eat half an hour later.

The service was outstanding today at lunch, food we ordered was cooked to perfection with quick service and large portions. Server kept our drinks refilled without hovering over us. This should be you lunch spot when you get the chance. I'm planning on bringing my we if down from Wichita ks just for lunch!!!!@@

I have eaten here 6 or 7 times and its always been very good. Their fried shrimp and fish are as good as anywhere, but I usually get the grilled. Its sooooo good. Tonight I tried the river and shrimp. It was overcooked, but they quickly made it right and brought me out another steak. It was very good as well. I have to say though the grilled fish and shrimp with the onions etc is still my favorite thing though.

Very disappointed! I have eaten at Sams Eatery on OKC and loved the food. The one in Ponca City was terrible the Shrimp was very salty and greasy. The French fries where cold and grease as well as the catfish. We had ordered on line and was charged a user fee. When I picked up the food the waitress could not even tell me if the order that was on the counter was mine or not, due to the fact when you order on line no name is associated with the order. Also we had ordered popcorn shrimp we never received.

We drove up and decided to get take home brought out to us. It only took 15 minutes for our order to be brought out to us from time of order. They even brought a couple of waters out for us without asking. Service was great.We ordered a Shrimp Po Boy and an Oyster Po Boy which come with French fries. They were delicious and the cook added a few extra Shrimp & Oysters to our order. We also had fried okra and mushrooms as an appetizer. Both were cooked well and tasted great. I would recommend this place esp for take home.

The wait staff is terrible! The other waitress took our appetizer for her table who had just ordered. We had been waiting 30 minutes. We were dining in and the kitchen sent our food out in to go boxes, so we had to wait even longer for our food to be sent out for dine in. Our food was wrong when it finally came out. The crawfish was overcooked. My son spilled his cup and one of the waitresses yelled across the restaurant that we had a spill at our table. The other waitress came to our table, looked at the spill and walked off. She never offered us a towel or anything. The wait staff is very unorganized and lack communication skills! On a positive note the food was really good but don't come here if you're really hungry because you'll wait an hour or longer to get your food.

Better than the month after opening. They still need to train table staff, didn't get silverware until after the food arrived. Ask for ketchup, got 4 packet, used them then asked for more , then a large container was brought. Hush puppies were over cooked. Tilapia was a 4, shrimp was a 7, red bean and rice a 7 needs to be bigger.

The food was whack. Although fresh it had way to much salt and we had to request silverware. Honestly the food wasn't very good and service wasn't great. The chicken was bad the sides were worse. It tasted like there was old bay on the green beans. Only bright side was the roll. Would not recommend.
