Worst bueno ever. Ordered mexi dip and chips and didn't have queso. Ordered quesadilla and didn't put cheese in it. Will never eat here again. I hope they close down so I'm not even tempted.

This was your last chance, and you failed. You have a Wholatta platter that includes a taco and a muchaco, neither of which was included in my meal, for which we waited at 1 pm, with almost no traffic. We were giving you another chance after "new management" took over from even worse management a couple of years ago. You should hide your heads in shame.

This lovely restaurant is FAMILY OWNED & OPERATED!!!I got to sample a few if their amazing dishes and believe me when I say it is FRESH Mexican food that is made to order! Absolutely delicious!!My favorite was the:CHURROS!! They were way better then any fair and offered 3 delicious flavors!!: (Strawberry, caramel and Bavarian creme filled)! Fried to perfection and topped with a brown sugar & cinnamon sugar blend!!Toppings are optional, order to suit your own tastebuds!!Dishes I tried:TACO SALAD - A bed of freshly shredded lettuce, covered heavily with carné asada (steak-beef) and shredded cheese. It is all topped with diced tomatoes, pico, cilantro, avocado slices and sour cream and garnished with fresh lime slices! All of it is kept together in a freshly fried flour tortilla bowl that is yummy to eat all by itself!?TACOS? - Your choice of marinated chicken or beef, covered with shredded cheese, topped with diced tomatoes, pico, cilantro, green salsa, all wrapped up in fresh and warm corn tortillas and garnished with fresh lime slices!CARNE ASADÁ FRIES - A bed of freshly fried french fries, covered heavily with chopped carné asada (steak-beef), creamy queso cheese sauce, topped with diced tomatoes, pico, cilantro, avocado slices and sour cream. Perfectly paired with the food!!I definitely will be visiting this place again!!Call ahead of time for an order to-go if you don't want to sit and eat!Kid-friendliness: Great food that kids would love, even pick eaters like my 7 year old son! A must try for the entire family! Very friendly staff and EXCELLENT food!

If I could give negative stars, I would. Taco Bueno used to be a decent fast food Mexican place in Shawnee. However, it has sadly went downhill. The food is no longer good, the staff is not trained, and it is randomly closed at odd times when they should be open. I hope management gets this placed under control before it is closed down.
0We went to this place hoping for some nice quick fast food Mexican, so we go in, make our order, we wait a little while and get our food and begin to eat. We realise the 2 queso cups for our 2 quesadillas aren't there, no biggy, I go to the front and ask for 2 queso cups and, I wait, and wait, and wait. Meanwhile they're doing other people's orders and whatnot, a little agitated, but again no biggy. So as I'm waiting, I see a big FAT cockroach crawling around right where all the food they were making was, this is when I started getting upset. The food tasted fine but we checked all the food for dead roaches, and ate anyway. 2 out of 5 stars would not reccomend, you could get food ten times better down the road.

don't eat here we ate here on the evening of july 16, 2017. my wife's dinner had a pubic hair in it. yes a pubic hair. the manager didn't even say he was sorry just said " i didn't put that pubic in your wife's fajitas. it's also very dirty in the whole place. look at the pictures i'm posting of this nasty pubic hair in our food. we stopped eating an demanded a refund!@

Well I really wanted to try something new besides Taco Bell but after walking in and looking at the floors it turned my stomach to go with what I know so Taco Bell here we come... I would not dare to try this taco Bueno the floors did not look like they were cleaned for years the doors had finger prints going from the top to the bottom like they weren't cleaned in months or years so I could only image how nasty they took care of the kitchen so we walked out and went a block away to yes you guessed it Taco Bell... I never gave one star very disappointed... Someone needs to call the health department and have this place shut down...

It's Taco Bueno. Best fast food Mexican you can get, but its chain fast food. They do a lot well but I have a hard time giving more than 3 to a fast food chain. Love some Bueno but it is what it is. Mexi dips and chips boo-yah. Like that.

Really not much detail to go into. Taco Bueno is new to me. I've never eaten at this location or any other. The place was clean and the staff was pleasant. The food came up quickly and tasted good. This is run of the mill Mexican fast food. But I will say I enjoyed it more than Taco Bell. Not bad. Not great.
