I used to love the Hideaway, especially the Italian subs. They had this little fleet of VW Bugs, and would deliver to the dorms late at night.Now, they have some really good fried mushrooms. We ordered my favorite pizza: pizza of the gods. I don't know what they were thinking when they decided to burn the crust!! What was a delight for the taste buds is now something akin to burnt toast! Thank you, The Hideaway, for embarrassing me. I had really talked up this pizza to my friend. Quit burning your crust! It was good the way you had it!! Of course, I don't expect you will.

Decent pizza and good service, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go back to this place. They had a nice selection of specialty pizzas and I liked that you can get a mini if you aren’t that hungry. I just wasn’t blown away by the flavors of the pizza. The chicken on the Chicken Florentine was what really bummed me out. Looked and tasted like they just sprinkled some frozen chicken on top of the pizza and baked it. Service was friendly and they came to check on the table often when though they were busy.
