The decor is beautiful. It's nice to have a place you can take a visitor or business associate that is more upscale, but it's still relaxing and comfortable for a date or to just meet friends after. They have a nice drink menu and the food they have is good. I do wish they still had a more expanded food menu, though.
Very Nice professional lounge with a well stocked bar and reasonable prices. The wait staff was very knowledgeable about the unique craft beers on tap and available in bottles. While I was there they had a Rye whiskey aging in a Barrel. I couldn't resist and found it smooth and full of flavor. Meeting people on campus or settling for the evening with friends, it's hard to beat the State Room if you actually want to enjoy your company. Great location to enjoy a happy hour. The drink menu is quite long (for Stillwater), the staff are great, and the food is pretty good. Highly recommend drinking and eating out in the patio when the weather is nice.
