Wow. Stopped here after a soccer game. Owners are beyond nice and made us feel like we have known them for years. LoL. The food was stellar, I have eaten a lot of BBQ and this is in the tops. I would recommend this place to anyone that eats. BBQ sauce was perfect, beans, smoked bologna, baked potato, Mac n cheese, burnt ends. We got to really get a great taste for it all. We will def come back.

Roxie’s was a staple as a kid so I had to try the next generation of Roxie’s BBQ. We were not disappointed!!! It starts with incredible service and passion from the owners. They were handing out samples of that day’s special (bacon burnt ends). We went with the special plus the meat sampler. Everything was amazing!!! I’ve been floating the river for the better part of 40 years and that was by far the best finish to a float trip!!! Highly recommend!!!

The folks and the service was excellent! We had the pulled pork sandwich, chopped brisket sandwich. We shared the sides baked beans, coleslaw, Mac and cheese.The meat on its own was good not too salty or smoky. They bottle their sauce, this is where they are different. The sauce is not a tomato, vinegar, mustard or molasses\heavy sugar base. It reminds me of the spices from a dry rub bbq but in a thick gravy. It sticks to the meat really well. It has a great flavor and we really enjoyed it.The baked beans were really good. Does have brisket pieces in it. The coleslaw was really similar to a fresh KFC with a medium garlic hit. My gf loved it I prefer a course chop on the cabbage. I would have also preferred less garlic hit.The Mac and cheese was killer. Creamy, cheesy and delicious.Would love to see them do breakfast as it’s tough to find something decent and quick for breakfast at the River.

Best barbecue in Tahlequah!!! The people are friendly, everything is always fresh, and their food is INCREDIBLE!!! We especially love the sliced brisket, BBQ beans, and macaroni & cheese -- but everything we have tried has been worth getting again! We're also huge fans of their signature BBQ sauce. It's tangy, sweet, and lightly smoky -- an amazing, uplifting compliment to their deliciously seasoned meats.
