I made the poor decision to go pick up a to-go order from the Midtown location and once again, I got home with half of my order and Albert G’s does this almost every time I’ve left with a to go order or had one delivered through a food delivery service.The barbecue is average at best and most of the people are pretty aloof that work inside and the vibe is that they really don’t care if you like it or not.I called and asked for a refund and they only give store credit or I had to drive back and return my food, like I really want to go back and waste my money again or my time! What a joke, just another business with awful service and always asking for a tip on top of price hikes. And a tip before you receive service or food!!!!!!!!

Service was OK, but food was mediocre. The loaded baked potato had very little toppings and was not hot. My husband said his meat plate was alright but not as good as other places we frequent.

Chucks chips are delicious ? potato salad is also great. Meats are delicious
Good smoked BBQ. This is my second best BBQ place. Always served warm and very good sides like fried okra, potato salad, etc. Pickles bar has good and fresh selection. Love the banana pudding. My only complaint is it is too small of a place. They do have other larger locations.

Service here is good, cashier up at the front had a great upbeat personality. Food was great! My only complaint is that they sadly do not offer some of my favorite menu items from the other locations!

Awesome! First time here. The place was clean, I could smell a hint of bleach coming from the hallway which is a super plus for me. The food was great as well as the service. We have no complaints. We will be back!
Albert G's original location is in the authentic barbecue shack style. I believe it's a retrofitted gas station. ⛽️ The decor features many tin signs and other nostalgic automotive curiosities. If you want a full bar and cushier seating, you should try the Downtown restaurant or the Tula Hills location.Their pork ribs are my favorite, but all the barbecue is great. Tabouli, slaw, and fried okra are excellent sides.
