Went in and bought food and Philly sandwiches. The sandwiches, burgers, fries, red beans and rice, okra were good but mac and cheese was bland. Staff was very nice and accommodating and even gave us a sweet roll and a lil statue because they are going to be remodeling. Restaurant was in rough condition with holes in windows and needed some cleaning but hopefully it may be different after the remodel.

I am thinking bout sueing them because of the whole catfish I ordered was not clean out and half cook. It was full of blood clots and loose blood in it. The first piece I ate it was good and it looked like it was suppose to. But when got ready to eat the second piece I broke it apart and that is when I saw what I saw in the fish and I start throwing up. Now I am wondering should I go get check to make sure I don't get food poisoning. I will never eat there again

The old lady at the counter was more invested in watching her shows on a speaker inside the restaurant. Lol when i asked where my order was. She didn’t even bother to look up from her phone. Told me “its cooking” mmkay how would you know if your busy on your phone sitting in the corner. And she had house clothes on and her hair was in a messy bun. Barely put up. So id watch for loose hairs as well in your food

I have been here before and ordered the wings and they were ok. Today the wings were fried in fish batter and grease and also cooked way too long. They tasted burnt. I called them and the young guy, who would not give his name was extremely rude. He said to bring “his food” back and hung up. I took the food back and no customers were there and I asked who I was speaking to and of course they both acted like they had no clue. Anyway the older guy said the chicken looked good to him and since I had eaten off one of them he would cook me 2 more. I asked for a refund and he asked me where were “his” fries. Both guys were very rude and just very poor customer service. So everything is ok until you have to bring something back. I won’t be going back and I don’t recommend anyone goes there.

I always get the fried catfish with French fries and fried okra and omg it is DELICIOUS. They have a convenient drive through pickup window so you never have to get out your car. The portions are HUGE, service is great, and they get done cooking your food fast. Love this place.

We have been coming here for a couple years and loved it. It appears that it may have been sold and/or different management. Our last three visits have been getting progressively worse. Bad service one time, bad service and we noticed our normal order did not taste the same, and today's visit service and food quality have diminished drastically. We were given the wrong drinks twice and when correct drink was given it tasted as if it was flat with a carbonation issue. Several of the shrimp, (used to be our favorite), in our order had a HORRIBLE taste and smelled awful. I hate to give low reviews, but this will more than likely be the last time we eat there.
