The food is okay. Not the best BBQ I've ever had, but good. But if you eat here you'd better eat it in a hurry before it gets cold. They serve it on an aluminum platter with a thin sheet of paper between your food and the aluminum. The food gets cold almost before you can get started. Billy Sims restaurant seems to have the worst features of both fine dining and fast food. You order at the counter (fast food). They ask for a tip when the order is placed not when your finished (I will leave it to the reader to figure out what this is characteristic of). Ambiance is not even up to the standards of most fast food restaurants. Everything seems to be for the convenience and profitability of the store and not for the enjoyment of the patrons. Why couldn't they, at a minimum, put the food on a styrofoam plate to keep it warm longer? I think the answer is obvious, it would cost them a few extra pennies for each meal. Everything for the store, no consideration for the customer.

We was greeted once we came in and wasn’t rushed to order !! I love a restaurant that has patience also the food was bomb I’m from Memphis tn so to say I like bbq outside of home was impressive!! I’ll be back for sure and the restroom was clean kuddos!!

Nice new clean store with a friendly staff. Two of us get a three meat combo , $26 with tip and split it. easy in and out right there at 61st and Sheridan charge me a dollar for two extra pieces of toast lol Highly recommend
