Chapin Mexican Restaurant Reviews
We got the carne asada, which was great overall. Not quite as good as Las Parillas in Catoosa (the beans were a little too runny and the carne asada was fatty), but still very good. It was $14.95 instead of $12.95, so I think their prices went up a bitTo reviewers who think the rice and beans are bland; they're supposed to be to offset spicy foods/salsa. And the tortillas are corn, not flour, so yes, they're heavier and break more easily if you're not careful.
Home made authentic cooked to order Mexican food. Best corn tortillas ever so soft. Carne asada was very flavorful and tender. Caldo de Rez is lots of vegetables and carne. Can't wait to come back and try more! Server is nice and friendly. Always clean. Small place next to barber shop! You won't regret it
