My waitress ignored our table and she had 3 tables total, they sat us in a small booth with 2 babies and we had to have someone get our waitress EVERY time we needed something! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE this evening.

Love this place! When I moved from Texas to Tulsa, I WAS spoiled by the variety of Tex-Mex in my Dallas area. El Chico & El Fenix were my " go-to" places! There were very few choices. So I was delighted. So, I have been an ElChico convert since. There was a Tex-Mex place named, Guadalajara and it was mom & pop owned, it was beyond awesome, too bad it was forced to close due to the owner's divorce. Great place!

Wow, probably the best Mexican food I've ever had and I'm from California and we have great Mexican restaurants. Definitely will be back next time I'm in Tulsa!

my family went there for a dinner while my sister was in town, I cannot tell you how pleased I am with the service the quality of food. The atmosphere...We were greeted at the door, And Were seated very quickly..We were greeted quickly by the server who did a marvelous job. Food came out was hot and delicious..I am very pleased with your staff,And the manager.. That came by and checked on us to make sure everything was okay.I believe her name was April Graham..Job well done.Ps My sister said she would love to come back every time to have dinner there..Thank you very much. For great evening.

Our waitress was incredible and didn't do anything to make this a bad review. She was perfect. The food and drinks were not. Both of our meals were barely touched because they just didn't have much flavor. I ordered the monterey chicken, which is always a favorite of mine at any Mexican restaurant, but this was not good. The chicken wasn't hot in the center, barely warm, and the cheese topping was just shredded cheese, nothing creamy or flavorful like I expected. The side veggies tasted like frozen carrots that were steamed and the rice and beans were bland. We were both disappointed. The sangria margarita was good but their house margarita just tasted like lime juice. Was there even tequila or anything else in it?? I used to love this restaurant but the food and drinks were a complete disappointment for our date night. Felt like we just wasted $60.

Yum! The beef and chicken enchiladas are a time proven recipe- so delicious!!! So grateful for El Chico serving great Tex Mex for over 50 years!
