We had great service from the moment we entered the building. Our server was very professional, and our group had a fun time. I enjoyed the camarones al mojo de ajo. The shrimp were flavorful.

Its an Okay spot but had a few issues. There was no salt, pepper, sugar on tables(i like to add sugar to my salsa) plus not a lunch menu. Kinda pricey for lunch. No vegetarian options or vegan. I ordered a taco salad w beans ane rice. I asked to add veggies, onion,lettuce, tomato and avocado. Food came quick but my taco salad was just refried beans, rice, iceberg lettuce like crazy and some tomato. I was charged full price for a chicken taco salad. My sons street tacos were good. Its an overall good place and clean.Vegetarian options: Lettuce and rice with tomatoes ? salsa

Great food. I enjoyed the food with my wife. She said the rice is not Mexican though. She’s from Mexico and said the rice is Spain/Spanish rice. I liked it. It’s still a good restaurant with a good Mexican atmosphere. The building is old but it’s been in business for 70 years and is on Route 66. Good place, and the waiter was very friendly and checked on us very often. Good service +++

When he was on friends, it was okay the atmosphere was okay. The service was okay the food I was not impressed with it. All I've been to other Mexican restaurants and had better.

This place has been around forever, but still has a way of remaining a hidden secret- or least it feels that way. The upstairs area is great- and perfect for drinks, and relaxing. Recommend.
