Phenomenal bbq. In Tulsa on business and local co-worker recommended this restaurant. You smell the smoke as soon as you enter. I got the pork sandwich with beans and "potato salad" which looks like mashed potatoes. Everything was excellent. One of my coworkers ordered the ribs and he said it was the best ribs he ever had. The owner was so welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend!

Looooove walking into this quintessential bluesy BBQ joint! The smell will drive you insane. Had BBQ beef sandwich and coleslaw, simple yet addictive. I've had a lot of BBQ around the country and this is my new Mom& Pop favorite. Tucked discreetly in Brookside. You won't be disappointed!

This is the “Chicken Sandwich” I had gotten from them and this is the after when I had to cut it up because in the box they gave me what it looked like 2 pieces tiny pieces of chicken and my boyfriend went in and chopped it up…It crazy we paid $12 and couldn’t even get a bun or the sandwich made!!! The meat is dry they have how good they are at brisket so I’m guessing that is all they are good at.I don’t know if it because the day after thanksgiving or what…. But I will not be recommending this play

Have known Keith for 20+ years. He has always been professional and considerate. The BBQ is exceptional and the sauce is wonderful. I love sliced brisket and pulled pork. I've never been disappointed. We've gotten catering for scouting events and birthdays. We will be using him for graduation and anytime we want excellent BBQ! Thank you!

Very clean and vibe new spot on Brookside. Attentive owner. Had their seasonal brisket chili and my wife had pulled pork sandwich. The chili is the best we have had in recent memory, unique smoky flavor. Pulled pork sandwich is juicy and pairs well with their sweet mixed BBQ sauce. Cornbread was nice and fluffy, with a sweetness thats not overbearing. We also came way after the lunch time and food was still fresh and top notch. Thanks for the great food and service.

Great little place for quick and easy great tasting barbecue, with great prices and great service. Very personable place! Try the green beans side - super tasty!! And the hot hot hot barbeque sauce was the perfect amount of kick to it! All homemade items!Parking: A free parking lot right across the street.Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly, but if you don’t have kids great place to go, even without!

Went in as a driver for a food delivery service went to the register and told them why I was there and he told me to have a seat he was going to wait on the 10 people in front of me first ( taste of Brook side ) so I stood to the side for about ten minutes realizing he had not done any of the online orders ( I could see the tickets hanging up ) so I asked politely how long it would be I was told another 5 minutes or so, I said ok I’m going to walk across the street and pick up another order so I don’t have to unassigne this one and that is when the employee got very rude and told me to do what I have to do because he is going to take care of these people first because they are very important and he is going to do what he has to do. Leaving me to assume the customer that had already paid for their food wasn’t important. I will not ever go there again for anything.

One of the best gems of Tulsa! I was glad to see it reopened down the street from the original location. Good vibes and added some much needed variety to Brookside.

Info that Elmer's is closed is incorrect. The original location has closed, but they've reopened at the corner of 33rd and Peoria. Easy to miss if you're not looking for it. Had lunch there today, and its still the same great BBQ.
