Worst tasting food. The beans tasted like cleaning products.

Just had puffy tacos at philbrook. Prices were extremely reasonable and the horchata iced coffee was pretty good!

Food was over salted, and the ambiance did not feel anywhere authentic. Food was more taco bell. Prices were very reasonableParking: Lbgtq + friendly and one of the reasons I took she there as it is all inclusive but she felt it was not particularly age friendly in general. Only Young 20s seemed to be the age groupKid-friendliness: No but I was there Saturday evening 8 pm with my 16 yr old granddaughter and she felt uncomfortable

I generally do not like to give one or two or three star ratings, so this is an important rating I enjoy good food and I will usually always give great reviews. Check my profile however, I’ll give you the positives and then the negatives when we walked into the restaurant it looked amazing. It looked like authentic Mexican atmosphere, that you might expect it from a real mom and pop shop, next, we sat down seated we’re greeted chips and salsa among the best we have ever eaten the food. I ordered a burrito my friend ordered the puffy tacos the burrito and the puffy tacos came out within three minutes of ordering it and I thought wow that was quick kitchen nightmare Well eating the burrito the meat was dry and there was zero flavor throughout the entire burrito. I take that back. There was a little bit of flavor at the end of the burrito and I believe it came from the sauce that they put on the end now if it would’ve been just that I probably wouldn’t have given a review at all, except upon leaving the restaurant I became very ill likely because the food was undercooked. It was not a reasonable temperature to kill food borne illness, and I cannot recommend that anyone should eat here again And I truly hope that the ownership takes this seriously and will make sure that food never comes out this way again what so worse is the server barely knew that we were there. I really wanted this to be a great experience they lack the necessary passion and desire for great food and service.

Really enjoyed the fresh veggie options. Our tacos were seasoned very well - tasted amazing. Loved the thin chips. Great drinks as well. Everyone was very nice. Can’t wait to go back.

Great atmosphere overall and the bartender provided excellent service. I got enchiladas and thought they were a little bland. Also got the strawberry reaper salsa and found it very bland.

Farm to table food with a great atmosphere. Definitely a local favorite and a fun place for brunch, lunch, or dinner!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and vegan options! There’s even a vegan queso!Parking: There’s street parking, but if you go during the work week or when another evening of happening, it can be difficult to find a place to park that’s not at least a street or 2 away.

We dined here last night after my daughter had suggested we go back. It had been several months since our last visit and at that time the food and service was about average. Food ordered with grade: Chicken burrito - 7/10 Pros - good portion size and flavor. Cons - none Pork tamales - 7/10 Pros - well made tamale served warm in husk. Cons - none Supplemental - side of Elote off the cob was very tasty. Puffy Tacos - 6/10 Pros - generous large chunks of chicken in tacos. Cons - too much chicken and sloppy. Also, VERY soggy and difficult to eat...tasted like canned chicken and lacked flavor. Tortilla Soup - 6/10 Pros - nothing according to diner. Cons - soup was barely warm and lacked flavor. Also, entire group was nearly finished eating until soup was returned to at table at adequate temperature. Synopsis: This restaurant has been around for a while and was great for many years, but unfortunately it has been underwhelming the last few times we have been there. Will I go back? Probably. When the owner used to be onsite it was clicking on all cylinders.

Quiet Tuesday night but wow, this place doesn't disappoint. The food was top notch, very interesting with complex flavor profiles and diverse options. The salsa trio is a must.Vegetarian options: Most menu options had ways to order it vegan or vegetarian.

The queso tasted like cream cheese, it was expensive for bad food, and the servers were slow. It wasn’t good mexican food at all.
