Dropped in for what turned out too be a great breakfast. This location has two main seating areas. On this visit we sat in the back room which was very clean and very quiet as there were only two other tables of guests in the room. I would say it was almost too clean because the odor of Fabuloso was in the air. Not my favorite scent. We had a very friendly server who took our drink orders and then came back to take our breakfast order a few minutes later. I ordered the Denver omelette with hashbrowns and whole wheat toast. I asked that the hashbrowns be well done. The food was delivered in a timely fashion but the hashbrowns were still not quite what I would consider well done. They were good, just not as crispy as I would like. The Denver omelette was excellent and was filled with visible chunks of ham, green pepper, onions and a little cheese. Very good. The coffee was actually pretty good. A lot of times in diners the coffee is very weak and watered down tasting. Freeway Café is on my list of frequent breakfast stops.

Great food and a decent price! My favorite breakfast spot! My only complaint is that the biscuits went from the freshest, most tasty biscuits in town, to it tastes like they baked them the night before and they reheat them in the microwave, leaving them rubbery and not enjoyable. Hope they fix my one issue, because I love this place.

The one on 3rd St is the one we will go to on a Sunday. Although they close at 3:00 it's the place we go and sit at the bar. Wonderful staff, that works their butt off, and are on it with getting what you need. The food is pretty good, whether for breakfast or lunch options.
