Genghis is a nice place. They have changed how you load up your bowls but you can still stack em high! I got the medium bowl and had it overflowing and there was plenty of food. I don't think you need to get a large if you have strategies on stacking.

Some great positives and serious negatives here. 4/7/24 Sunday after church not very busy at all, with road construction on S. Memorial. A large build your own bowl is $25!!! Last time we ate at a Genghis was 4 years ago in Fort Worth and about half that price. Hubby opted for medium size and was greatly disappointed. His food was so overcooked the vegetables were charred! And his refried rice was lukewarm. He tried to spiffy it up with soy sauce and it tasted like vinegar. He was really unhappy. He did say the seats were comfortable and iced tea was brewed well. I ordered the small Bangkok Bowl from the menu and it was delicious! And all piping hot. BUT didn't come out until my partner was almost finished eating. Not sure, but I think our waiter must have forgotten to put my order in. I took half home and was completely satisfied. Note- it's pretty spicy and I wished for something sweet to tame it down.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetables to choose from on the build your own buffet. Also will make the chef's bowls all veggie on request.

Great food, and I STACKED my bowl. I wish I had taken a before pic. *UPDATE* It had been a while since I went back here. Did not disappoint. Had a free bowl for my birthday.
The staff and service were very, very good as far as nice & courteous. The food was also very good. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the dining area and the area where you select your bowl items. ? The dining area was very dirty. None of the tables had been cleared from customers that had eaten and already left. The floors under the tables were not cleaned,... customers had spilled drinks under their table. And I saw staff clear the table after like 20 minutes of them leaving, but never cleaned up the floor under the table. My table and chair/booth were STICKY. I think if more effort would be put into the cleanliness of the establishment, I could give 5 stars.

Located in a great shopping area in Bixby. Everyone was warm and friendly and very accommodating. The only thing that tasted well were the egg rolls, everything else was flavorless, and quite bland. At the time that I arrived it wasn’t packed, the food came quickly.
