I regret to say that my experience at Golden Gate restaurant was deeply disappointing. Despite the hype on social media, the lunch buffet left much to be desired. The food lacked any discernible flavor, arrived soggy, and to my dismay, was being microwaved right in front of us, which certainly did not enhance its appeal. Overall, a regrettable dining experience that I won't be revisiting anytime soon.

Food was horrible i ordered sesame chicken and egg rolls. Waited 30 mins for crummy food. Would not suggest waisting time and money on this restaurant.

Hands down the best Chinese food in Tulsa. Everything is cooked to order and the portion size is huge! My hubby and I will get 3 meals out of our order. We did get it to go and they wrapped everything so it would stay fresh and hot. Will definitely be our go to place.

Would never order there again, the food is not real chinese food, i got fried dumplings, they used a different type wrap for it, and it was not fried like to normal chinese resturants do it. never going back. Plus the food is wayyyyy to high.

The place is run down, they are too cheep to pay the waitress because there is a little box screwed to the wall by each table that say the waitress/waiter works for tips only as agreed. All others work for agreed wage. We ordered Pork Fried Rice and it was white rice with a sauce over it, a few cut up onions, bamboo shoots, and tiny strips of pork that looked like it was boiled. The waitress was running around like a chicken with her head cut off, busing tables, and washing dishes besides waiting on tables.

Entirely overpriced.. $3 for one egg roll? And $19 for a plate of lo mein? No thank you. We didn’t buy anything because we saw people eating and what they had didn’t look anything different than the place down the road where I can get a plate of lo Mein for $8, large $11. The place is extremely cramped and not worth the $20/plate experience. Perhaps the buffet is different but if you’re just wanting some take out for a reasonable price, this isn’t the place to go.

Very friendly! A bit pricey but the portions are huge! No complaints about flavor, especially the spring rolls and egg drop soup. The soup had chicken in it, which was a nice surprise! Compliments to the chef…5 stars all around!

The prices of this place is insane for the below average food they serve. The only reason this place is still alive is due to nostalgia from a day where it once was affordable, if you want to get quality food and not overpay, go anywhere else. The menu has hardly any options for one person to eat here. It’s as if they go out of their way to make sure of it, not having any portion of noodles less than 17 dollars. Total rip off.

Went here for a quick dinner last night. It was not quick. Waited about 30 minutes for the main dish. Seems like the kitchen was more focused on to go orders than customers dining in. Brandon was great but the other server that was helping was very confused. Food was pretty good. Loved the egg rolls and the Peking beef but the sweet and sour pork that was part of the combo was 90% breading and very little pork. I know this is not the restaurant’s fault but there was a super loud table that sat and talked loudly and laughed even louder for 20 minutes after they paid their check. Made for a very unpleasant atmosphere while I was patiently waiting on my food. I’d go back and try again just for the egg rolls. I know the days of $10 Chinese food is gone but I did think $30 was a bit steep for an appetizer and meal. I got water to drink. That was not counting the 20% cash tip I left.
