Very friendly and attentive service. Food was presented well and quickly. My husband and I shared the crawfish tamales, they were deconstructed tamales with an etoufee sauce on top they were unique and yummy. I had the fried shrimp and fried squash basket, very good and portions were large. My husband had the shrimp 2 ways and both were delicious, again portions were large. We definitely will be going back.

The food here was really good, BUT the service was HORRIBLE! After getting our appetizer there were four families that came in and ordered and received their food in the course of an hour and fifteen minutes. Nobody revisited our table to check on us or refill our empty drinks. I finally went to the counter to ask what the deal was and discovered our server did not put in our order! The lead server was VERY understanding and kind to the server saying, "it's ok, people make mistakes and that's how we learn". But didn't as much as offer an apology or discount our meal for the complete negligence they showed our table. In fact they mixed up how many shrimp are in a pound and ended up over charging me. They did make up for that by taking half of the cost of the shrimp which was nice (and expected). Our server was a real sweetheart, but as we watched what was going on between the lead and other servers it was clear the lead was not interested in helping the other us or the other customers. Food was good though

It is so strange that Tulsa does not have many crab boils considering it's not that far away from Louisiana. Cajun Ed is one of the few. Inside the restaurant, you'll find that they also sell ingredients and frozen foods, some of which are homemade which is nice. I almost considered buying their frozen gumbo but the size was too big for myself. I really came in for the boil though so I got the build your own boil with 2 lbs of crawfish and 6 shrimps. They serve their boil in a metal tray which is okay but the problem is that it does not taste like a boil. I don't know how they make their boil but it looks like they boil them in hot water, take them out, and put them in a heating device to keep them hot. When someone orders the boil, they would take it out and sprinkle Louisiana powder on top. My guess is based on the how dry the crawfish and shrimp are. All the boils that I love been to, the crawfish and shrimps are WET, not dry. The shrimps are medium size and very dry. They taste like grilled shrimps honestly which is not bad. The crawfish are also dry. The flavor does not soak inside the meat, again because it's DRY. What you are tasting is the Louisiana powder on the outside. $33 overall which is okay if I was FULL. Left the restaurant still feeling hungry and I am a small person, 5'5 and weighing 146 lbs. I didn't want to order anymore food because I am on a budget. Okay, that's it. I feel like the more I write the more I want to take more stars off.

Great food, a must if you like seafood!!

The staff was nice, and in fairness they have a variety of foods on the menu, so I’m not sure how their other stuff measures up… however the seafood boil was bland and very disappointing. There was no “pot liquor” or sauce, just butter and a variety of hot sauces to choose from. This is prolly not a bad spot to go too if you have dietary restrictions… as they are not heavy on the seasonings at all.

This was hands down best beans and rice I have ever had. I loved the stuffed chicken and the portions were very generous. I really enjoyed the unique flavor and honestly way better then New Orleans itself. Beignets were so good, I can't wait to come back!

Born/raised in New Orleans this place is so close to our house in Tulsa had to give it a try. We tried a bit of everything and, aside from the super-friendly staff, we were unimpressed. Boudin balls, etoufee, gumbo all pretty bland and tasteless. Fried shrimp were cold. Environment I'll give a 5 (reminds me of some of the small local places on the north shore) but food a 1 and it pains me to say that. Maybe we hit an off day. We'll try it again and if a better experience I'll update this review.
