It is with a broken heart I report that Laffa has closed permanently. I tried to go for my birthday on the 6th and they have a sign saying so. This has been my favorite place in Tulsa for many years. Miranda, thank you for the memories and incredible food!

It's always a special occasion going to Laffa. They're food is outstanding, the ambiance is serene. It's one of my favorite places to go in Tulsa. If you want to try something addictively different, try Laffa!

Passing through town on business, staying at the hotel next door. Walked in, restaurant half empty, asked for a table and the guy was like nah, we're too busy for a table for one. Restaurant might be ok, but don't be passing through town by yourself, make sure you're with a bunch of friends because they don't appear to want or need your business. Kinda just makes you smile. Glad they're doing so well. Guess I'll eat when I get back home to New Orleans, they feed everyone!

I so wish I had taken pictures of what my family and I had for dinner, it was a work of art! The food and dessert were nothing short of outstanding! I cannot believe there was no wait on a friday night. I'm from So Cal where we have the best restaurants, this place me feel like I was at home. The service was southern hospitality. My family and I will definitely return!!! P.S. Save room for dessert. The bread pudding is the best I've ever tasted. I highly recommend Shannon as a server. She did an outstanding job!!!!

Beautiful ambience. Friendly staff. Yummy food. The price point was a bit much to me for what I had, it tasted good but not anything leaving me super impressed. I'd try it again but as of right now, I just didn't think the bang was worth the buck.

This was our 3rd time at the Laffa; last night to celebrate our daughter's birthday. We always enjoy the Laffa because the food captures real authentic middle eastern flavor. The service is always excellent and the prices are at a welcome value. Our daughter said the Esau soup was great. We had the falafel dinner with the variety of sauces. The waiters wear masks and the place is always super clean. It is spacious with great ambiance. The Laffa is one of our happiest restaurants to go to in Tulsa. Highly RECOMMENDED and never disappointing.

Really good food and service. Had an appetizer platter (hummus, etc) and an amazing meatball dish with a red sauce. My husband wasn’t too keen to eat here but ended up absolutely loving it! Look forward to going back.

Overall: 3/5 Entrees: 4/5 My husband and I talked about this for a long time. Laffa would be a fantastic lunch or quick dinner before going to a concert. Our entrees were fantastic. The appetizer, though, left us wanting a little more. In all transparency, I had really hyped up the mezze platter. I went years ago with a close friend and remember thinking the dips and the laffa bread were out of this world. With this in mind, my husband and I ordered the mini mezze and then added an appetizer of falafel. The falafel were unique and very moist, but I wouldn't personally get them again. I didn't care for the four sauces the falafel came with, but the tzatziki that we got with our mezze was phenomenal. Along with the tzatziki, we ordered the West African Hummus and the Matbucha to complete our mini Mezze. We didn't care for the Matbucha, but the hummus was good. I wouldn't have known it was hummus if not for the name - it definitely had a more nutty, almost sweet tone to it. My husband said it reminded him of peanut butter! So overall - the appetizers left a little to be desired. I do think some of that should be contributed to my hyping it up so much and for so long. Anything less than stellar was probably going to be disappointing. So what would I do different? Although I wouldn't order the mezze, I would recommend trying out the different small dishes if you enjoy unique, middle eastern cuisine! It wasn't for us, but I do think they were high quality dips. Instead of the mezze, I would order a side of tzatziki and an order of their laffa bread (instead of pita). I would also order the Armenian Roasted Mushrooms that come over a hummus. As far as the entrees - my husband and I both said we wouldn't change our order. I got the Jerusalem Adana Kofta and Grant ordered the Chicken and Lamb Shawarma Wrap. My entree was truly fantastic. Getting the perfect bite of buttered rice, spiced honey, garlic labneh, and turkey and lamb sausage... it was magical. Weirdly enough, the meat almost reminded me of a meatloaf, but the flavor profile was more advanced, and the dish as a whole was wonderfully crafted.

We have been to Laffa several times on our visits to Tulsa. Service and overall quality is real hit and miss. Our visit today is pretty much a total miss. First the name is Laffa. But there is no laffa as the Laffa oven is broken. We were advised to arrive before 6:30p as they had lots of reservations starting then. At 7 the place was still half empty. (They we're closing at 8). The Esau soup which we have had several times before was literally watered down to the point you could taste the water--and that was about the only flavor it had. Items are way over priced! Strike three. We are out of here.

A few months ago, my sister and I visited Laffa. We were blown away by the freshness and quality of the food. We ordered several things and split them. All were very good, but my absolute favorites were the Mini Mezze (we selected the West African Hummus, the Labneh, and the Muhammara Dip), the Khadu (absolutely delicious!), and the Lemony Mint Salad. I live in Georgia, but definitely plan to go to Laffa again with my next visit to Tulsa.
