It's one of our favorite restaurants in Tulsa. Excellent bar staff that knows how to consistently make refreshing drinks. Professional wait staff makes every meal a delightful experience. The meals are both visually appetizing and delicious. A perfect atmosphere for fine dining.

I have enjoyed McGill’s to go service multiple times in my life but after tonight , they will never be bothered with my patronage. I called to make a to go order as I have multiple times on Friday nights for ages. After a lengthy moment of being placed on hold , I was told that because their main dining room was busy, they would not be taking to go orders. Let me be perfectly clear. You either offer to go service or you don’t. You don’t get to choose when you turn it on or off. You either appreciate the to go business or you don’t. We are unable to eat in the dining room at times and look forward to meals to go when that happens. I called back to speak to someone about this as this glaring inconsistency in service offerings needed to be addressed. They gave me David. He is the General Manager and really missed the mark .His handling of my 2nd call and the owners refusal to talk to me is what ultimately led to this review as their actions or lack there of to be held accountable is too much to go unsaid. At some point David talked to the owner. He came back on the phone saying that he and I quote “I don’t want to take your to order but will anyway…” How dare you David! You and the owner who hid behind you instead of taking heat for their decision need to know that they are literally surrounded by 5-6 steakhouses that are 100% accepting of to go orders at all times. You insulted me twice in one night. I am beyond disappointed in the actions that occurred tonight .Heads up to all patrons that this experience at McGills proves where they rate the priority of their to go service and customers who might need service at a time not conducive to McGills liking. I have never felt like a second rate class of customer in my life until trying to eat at McGills To Go tonight. PS. Ruth Chris made a great to go meal tonight and I could really tell they where appreciative even though they were actually busier than McGills. I’ll probably give Mahogany’s To Go a shot next. Good luck.

The service was outstanding, but I found the food to be mediocre for the price. My Ribeye was cooked perfectly, but the flavor was substandard for a high caliber restaurant such as McGill's.

Only reason not perfect is the insanely high prices. Everything was over the top. Leyla was the best server I've had in years.

Always good in past, but took a while to click into their system. You would think that the servers would all be clued in to not keep walking past customers just sitting there at a bare table.

Average high end food. Steak was smaller than normal 7oz fillet and bacon wrapped. One lobster tail was $79. Calamari had little seasoning. Overall good date night with my wife and knew I was spending $200 but food could have been better. I miss Dallas. Probably spoiled on their great steak and seafood scene.

McGill's on 61st is always a great experience. The food never disappoints. Steaks, shrimp, Pasta Lobster, so many good options. Our steaks were cooked perfectly. I always recommend the blue cheese KC strip. The featured Cowboy ribeye was incredible. Prices are good as well for what you get. And I always enjoy the ambiance. Quality service as well.

McGills is our favorite for a reliable & delicious meal. We had the spinach dip this time which is not necessarily unique but consistent with most other restaurant offerings. We were hoping for our favorite dish that is often a feature but it was not available this time. So my husband had fried shrimp. He enjoyed it but thought the rice was just “ok”. I chose the always favorite KC strip with blue cheese cream sauce. I am not a bc fan but have always enjoyed this sauce over the years. Our server was very warm but at a very leisurely pace for our expectations. The music wasn't on most of our visit until the end. So it was pretty starkly quiet. We ended with the predictable crème brûlée and it is smooth and creamy every time!

We were seated where I requested. The waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable. Our food came quickly and was very delicious. Husband had steak and potato and I had shrimp, rice and broccoli. I was so impressed at the size of the shrimp. They were superb.
