We get all of our cakes here. In the 18 years that I've lived here, every cake has been exceptionally moist and delicious. Well, there's a first time for everything. I placed my order too late, so I purchased a lemon cake from the display case for a birthday party. Yuck, very dry and tasted like refrigeration. I won't make that mistake again, but I will definitely order cakes again as usually they are the best in town along with all the other numerous items they make from scratch.

The staff used to be so friendly, but the young people who work there now act as if they are doing you a favor by waiting on you. After I have spent a fortune on cakes and cookies (and the food is worth the occasional splurge), there is no acknowledgment of your business. They simply turn and walk away. Management needs to train these young people to appreciate their customers’ business.

I go here for one thing- their cinnamon crunch donuts which is top of the line. Their coffee is okay. Not too keen on their carrot cake. They have good sausage tools. The wait staff is always good - efficient, courteous and have a great sense of humor.

Okay, so in Tulsa we don't really have many options for bakeries. Merrits is hit or miss a lot, sometimes the deserts are SOOOOO GOOD. And then like today, got a cream puff, it looked SOOO GOOD. I love cream puffs! So took it home, and felt it to see if it was soft. Hard as a ROCK. Frosting on the inside was also hard, it was absolutely inedible. I would 10000% not recommend coming later in the day to get a cream puff, maybe that was my mistake. Unfortunately everything they have is out in the open, where as the cookies are REALLY amazing, the cream puff suffered. And maybe it was old, I'm just not sure. But for $4 I was really sad I couldn't eat any of it. The people who work at Merrits are SUPER nice and wonderful, the only complaint I even have is that sometimes when I get items, and I can't come when they open as I work mornings, that things are really stale. Had chocolate chip cookies today though and they are always AMAZING, never had a bad one!! Just learned my lesson, no more cream puffs

We recently purchased a birthday cake at the Broken Arrow location, and were very happy with the results. The cake was adorable and the taste and texture were perfection. Moist, held together well, and delicious. Four layers of yum! Thank you, Merritt’s for making an important day even better.
I ordered a two-tier cake for my daughter-in-law to be’s bridal shower. Showed them a picture, provided them silk flowers in the color theme, and they nailed it. Cake was not only absolutely stunning, but also delicious. I’ve used Merritts for all our special occasions through the years and will continue to do so.

Merritt's bakery went above and beyond the call of duty. My wife and I recently move from Louisiana and had little hope of finding her favorite cake, a doberge cake. After some inquires someone suggested Merritt's. We were in luck. It's a cake they usually make around Mardi Gras and were able to make it. The surprise on my wife's face was worth all of the effort. She didn't think I could find one. Everyone enjoyed it and marveled on the multiple layers of the cake and the icing. Would definitely recommend for all your bakery needs

My favorite bakery for over 30 years!! Every birthday, wedding, and special occasion, Merritt's cakes are wonderfully decorated and always taste great. I usually ask for a special design and they have never failed to deliver. Love their doughnuts, cookies, and sausage rolls! Also stop buy for lunch as their sandwiches are epic and include dessert!
