Has this happened to you when ordering gluten-free? As a Celiac, I feel like I run into issues that would never be chill with the general public. Yesterday my husband and I went to Napa Flats in Tulsa, Oklahoma for lunch before flying home. The restaurant was suggested to me by the gluten-free Tulsa Facebook group. I noticed that the queso appetizer was marked as gluten-free and was $10 on the menu. It didn't say what it was served with and our server told me it was served with corn chips when I asked. I told him I was Celiac and asked if it was fried together with the fried chicken, which would contaminate it. He told me it was in a separate fryer. Afterward he came back and told me the chef didn't think that it was safe for celiacs so they were subbing vegetables. I got a small plate of baby carrots and cucumber - not enough to eat all the queso with, and they charged me $2 extra for it! You'd think if it's marked $10 and gluten-free, they wouldn't charge you extra to make it "for real gluten-free." Undisclosed charges are the sort of thing that makes eating with an autoimmune disease infinitely more annoying. In total we ordered: - Korean rib appetizer - $13 - gluten-free Napa Queso with vegetables - $12 - Pork chop with mashed potatoes and green beans $22 - gluten-free Chicken Sonoma with steamed vegetables $21 The food tasted good, were large portions and looked nice. While it was a cloudy, stormy day, it's right on the river so you could eat outside with a river view in better weather. Would I go back? I'm not sure. Undisclosed charges always put a sour taste in my mouth. Visited: April 2024

Our party of four stopped here for brunch. The restaurant was largely full but we were seated promptly. Our server was excellent. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered the meatball hoagie and had a choice of french fries or in-house made chips. The server steered me towards the fries and they were Shoestring style and lightly seasoned. I thought they were great. The meatball hoagie was very good and had a very nice roll holding it all together. The temperature of the meatballs, sauce and cheese was barely adequate however,. Had I not been with a party of four I would have sent it back to be remade hotter. For dessert we all tried the Creamsicle gelato and could not have been happier. It was so smooth and creamy. Overall the prices here seem very reasonable and it's a nice atmosphere.

We had the wood fire pizza and they were great! Service was great!! The only thing I didn't like was the manager or owner doing paperwork in a booth would laugh and make fun of patrons when they left, bad firm!

Stopped here with family as we were heading out of town, we were highly impressed with Napa flats. We were a lively and sometimes rambunctious group and the waitress met our energy and was very accommodating and warm towards us. Food was excellent and fresh. We were a large party of 10 and ordered a variety of dishes. Everyone was satisfied with their food. They were a little pricey but definitely worth it. Overall, I will be returning to this lovely restaurant and referring it to anyone in the area.

It was beautiful inside. The music was far too loud for a good conversation so that was not pleasant for me. The food was amazing though! I had their kale & spinach ravioli. ?

My absolute most favorite restaurant in Tulsa! I’ve never had a single thing on the menu that wasn’t both delicious and beautiful.

We ate outside and it was beautiful. Service was slow but our waiter was great. I got the filet kabob, there was no seasoning or flavor in the steak. Mashed potatoes had a funky taste. Everything was well under seasoned. steak was burnt so without seasoning it was just bitter.

We were a very large group of friends and family celebrating a birthday. Our table was ready when we arrived. Our servers were efficient and the food was great! The only down side was that the kabob was a tad overdone and tough.
