The bakery always makes the cakes for our Spanish Club and does a great job. I also buy their Day of the Dead bread every year for our Spanish classes and find that it is tastier than I have found at other bakeries.
The bread is good and soft most of the time. Sometimes you do get old bread but the price is very reasonable. The owners are always nice the employees as well. I wish the selection was a bit bigger

It is a bakery with a traditional flavor to the city where I come from. The name suits you! However lately it doesn't live up to the name. There is an unpleasant smell inside the premises, a smell that penetrates the bread making it taste like that. There is an ingredient in the slices of butter that is too much, or at least it would taste better if they put less of that ingredient. It's a bit dirty!
