Everything tasted like it came out of a can or was extremely old. The atmosphere was nice but the food was awful and way overpriced

My boyfriend and I got the Thai Tea Boba and Painkiller shaved ice. They were awful. We had to throw them away after 2 sips/bites. The Thai tea was not authentic at all and was a very thick, yucky texture (even after I tried stirring it). The shaved ice tasted really bitter and not sweet at all. My boyfriend said “this tastes like someone made tried to make a pee-flavored ice” the texture wasn’t consistent either. The employees were very nice tho and tried to make my drink with less dairy, which I appreciated. And the walk-up window is cute.

Both of us got the miso ramen, vegan-style, with added tofu and bamboo shoots, plus the veggie gyoza. Everything was delicious and came out quickly. Would go again!

Ordered carry out food today and my order was wrong the first time. I went back and they corrected it. Found out later they charged me 1.90 on top of my carry out order for the “sustainable” package. When I called and let them know that I wasn’t aware of the extra charge for that, the girl on the phone immediately got upset by her tone. I told her I felt like it was theft and they need to inform their customers they are getting charged extra for carry out. She kept saying “It’s ONLY %6” or “it’s ONLY 1.90” as if that was ok. She even asked me how much I tipped on a carry out order! I asked her to please stop saying ONLY because it sounds dismissive, I know it’s not you but the business policy needs to be stated. She said I was being hostile and said verbatim” Do you want your refund or not!” I told her not anymore and that I will just leave a review and then she hung up in my face. I work in the area so to be treated like this was horrible. I felt I was being very respectful and she was immediately rude and dismissive. I will be passing this interaction along to my coworkers and the other businesses around here. People need to know if you are charging them extra for carry out. It’s plastic bowls. No other restaurants I know does this. I hope the girl I was speaking with gets better customer service training, and that they start stating their policy in their business so no one else is fooled.

We got the taro boba and the coconut almond boba tea. The boba was not good. Would not recommend to anyone if you are looking for authentic boba tea. This was basically milk with a pre-made powder mixed in. The boba all stuck together, too, so it didn’t come up the straw while drinking. They also have a “sustainable carry out packaging” fee for some reason, even though we only got the boba drinks.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years, and the consistency changes per shift. I got to the point to only dine here when certain people worked because I knew the food was better. Now ? that I no longer eat pork and tried the chicken ramen for the first time. Extremely disappointed. The risk of the hit or miss is far greater than the reward.

The last time, I had ramen was Kaibu Ramen, in Iaichi, Japan, where, as a of the restaurant description logo was “Unpretentious!”And … here I was in downtown Tulsa, Ok…doing ramen as a request from one of the kids!Roppongi restaurant setup was small, not small compared to Japanese Ramen n stall but small to US, OK. Part sitting n tables, part high stool and counter similar to Japan, which to me is reminiscing n a PLUS. Cute Japanese like … decorations! The food, the ramen … we all ordered the pork belly ramen, we should have ordered three different types, BUT we didn’t ;( .The mushrooms has a sweet taste to it!The soft boiled egg, almost hard boiled and evidence of being marinated n chilled… but still salty! The noodles … not bad! Wait a minute, was it ramen noddle or spaghetti ?The broth was … what can I say … like soy sauce, I meant… I understood ramen is comfort food, I understood the broth can be from soy… but this black broth soup, was like sauce soy n salt! The pork belly … and it is supposed to be pork belly. NOT enough fat, NOT pork belly, then they tried pan fried or flame covered it and it turn out burned n dried, very DRIED!Just by coincidence, Thursday night was 1/2 price ramen. I had initially thought, half price thus half portion, because they served BIG giant portion. Thanks goodness!
