Not the best or the worst. Service was so so, had to wait a while for a new carafe of water and when dinner was delivered, they removed the chips even though we still had queso on the table.

I usually only go off TA reviews and don’t look for google reviews but this place wasn’t even on the other review site and it was close to the hotel. Really cool setting/area. Really glad we came here! Waiter was fantastic and prompt. Fajitas were tasty and tortillas were good. Everything was fresh. Queso was simple but good. House rita was fantastic! Rice was a little salty for my taste, but we would love to go back if we re in town again!

Awesome place. Took my wife here for date night. We had the margaritas, rice balls, and tacos. Everything was delicious. Service was great too.

Very small restaurant in the boxyard but don't let the small interior fool you because the food here has huge flavor and a great staff

My fiancé and I stopped by for take-out lunch on a day trip into Tulsa from our vacation in Missouri. We were greeted warmly and given a menu. The inside of the restaurant, snuggled within The Boxyard development, is inviting with rustic wooden tables and walls painted a beautiful, calming teal-ish color. I cannot find an updated menu online listing what we ordered. So, I cannot use the exact name of the items but I'll do my best to describe them. My fiancé ordered something similar to a crunch wrap, similar to what you'd find at Taco Bell. Of course, Sabores did a fresh take on it! My fiancé reported that it was very good and would order it again. I ordered two appetizers. The first was a tostada with delicious sliced mushrooms and melted cheese. Neatly packed in tiny containers were toppings which included guacamole, pickled red onion and cotija cheese. All the different flavors and textures were awesome. The second appetizer I order was fried rice balls. The rice balls had cheese in them, were perfectly fried and came with a queso dipping sauce. This appetizer was another hit! Although, my only criticism would be that although the queso was delicious it is very rich and fatty. Paired with the rich rice balls there was just a lot of heaviness on the palate. Maybe a slightly acidic and/or spicy dipping sauce would be preferable to cut through the fried food. Just a thought! Prices seemed reasonable as the food described above, along with free chips and salsa was around $25. They have a small menu with nice options for vegetarians which was great to see. It seems like a few menu items could be made vegan, too.

Tacos are $3 each, so a great snack to pop in for, but they didn't blow me away, especially as we have an extensive list of options to choose from in Tulsa. The complimentary chips and salsa were delish and the staff was very attentive. We enjoyed our visit and I'll be back when I'm downtown and want a quick bite.
