My first time checking this gem out; came in after the lunch rush (about 1:15pm) and just knew this place was going to 'slap', as the youngsters say, as right when I walked in one of the ladies was doing some spot cleaning and the smell of bleach permeated the air.I ordered the patty melt, and onion rings, and they didn't disappoint. I've always been under the impression that patty melts were made with Texas toast, but was a patty with caramelized onions and melty cheese on toasted rye. Delicious. And the onion rings? I have a specific type of onion ring I like. These were excellent, although not my favorite (that award goes to Ron's).Noticed the salad bar, and the pizza and salad buffet. Will likely give that a try next time.As it will be one of many more trips I take there. This is on my rotation from this point forward.
