No heat in the room in January during a winter storm. Miserably cold. Staff brought blankets and a floor heater but still very cold. Would never stay during the winter again.

I did not eat here. I was staying at the Marriott Courtyard and The Bistro is located inside the hotel. “The Bistro” name is used for the restaurant located in most Courtyards.I walked in to get a salad or something light for dinner. I was told there was no cook but there was bar food: wings, tater tots, perhaps some mozzarella sticks. I decided to go elsewhere.

Very happy with the hotel. Some people complained about parking, but it's not unusual for a downtown hotel. Parking next to the hotel and using the sky bridge to the lobby was very easy. Room was spacious and clean. Front desk staff was friendly. Only small issue was housekeeping knocked on our door about 9:30 and asked us when we we're leaving, even though we had the do mot disturb sign on the door. We were awake, but could be an issue if someone wanted to sleep in.

This is a very old hotel downtown that has been recently updated. Negatives: no valet parking and you have to park a block away inside a tight parking garage and walk across a "sky bridge" to enter the hotel. The elevators are small and rickety. And the sign on the new pretty shower says due to being an old building it takes a long time to get hot water...so you have to turn on the shower and sink water simultaneously and wait a few minutes for hot water. That was a pain. But nice space in rooms, comfy beds, clean rooms and updated hotel =4 stars

Ok hotel is decent. I had issues with the parking. No free parking. The parking is managed by a third party and is expensive. If you lose the ticket you will have to pay again to check out and the philtower garage parking lot folks told me they don't issue refunds. I have submitted a complaint but may not hear from garage tower. The hotel generously refunded my the extra cost I paid to park. If you do park in parking garage, don't lose the ticket and take a photo!

We had a WONDERFUL experience with the two front desk people we saw on our stay. So helpful, friendly, and professional.

In the old Atlas building, which has some history to it. I understand how the pandemic has really shaken things up for the industry, and that Tulsa has little in the way of consistent experience with persistent cold weather. However, having heating which is at best tepid during 20 degree F nights or below, trying to use space heaters as a band aid is, at best, pedestrian. No one I spoke with seemed to have a way to address the tundra temperatures in the rooms - and maybe there just wasn't a solution given the age of the building. While the front desk staff were very nice as well as accommodating since we had to request everything from towels to the provided coffee inserts in the rooms (given no housekeeping due to SARS-cov2 aka covid), clearly the rest of the staff was skeleton, e.g. given it was 4 days until there was some sort of cleanliness evidence in the fitness center, albeit well stocked with hand sanitizer as well as clorox towelettes to clean off the equipment, and the trash in the hallways were there for a couple of days before being picked up. Hence, the hotel is pretty much self serve, even moreso than others I have stayed at during the pandemic. And a note about parking - you have to prepay at point of service at the entry on Cincinnati behind the hotel - the kiosk will ask for a credit card and the number of days the garage is to be used. So if you will be parking at the hotel, note that they otherwise don't have control of this situation, and you will need to park on level D or above, whilst the 'skyway' to the hotel is on level C.

We had an illness come up and we'd pre-paid for the room. John, the desk clerk, was really understanding and let us cancel the reservation without charging for the room. It is deeply appreciated. I didn't go to a guest room obviously but from what I did see, this is a gorgeous old building inside and out! Service rating of 5 stars! I'll definitely look into staying there next time I'm at an event in downtown Tulsa!

Formerly the headquarter for Atlas Life Insurance Company, this building has been repurposed into a Courtyard by Marriott. The iconic neon sign once belonging to Atlas Life still remains and lights up at night. In fact, a lot of the building's charm has been retained. Walk through the doors, and have your breath taken away. You have basically walked back in time - the lobby level with its Art Deco design and decorated ceiling does not look like it has changed much at all aside from the businesses that are occupying the space there now. Take the stairs or the elevators one floor up to the hotel lobby. This is where it looks a lot more modern. I checked in late at night, and I had the pleasure of being checked in by the general manager who was covering the overnight shift. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and I appreciated the conversation about the building and its history. Getting to the guest rooms require key access. The rooms are large and spacious with plenty of windows. Even if your room does not have a view, you will at least get a beautiful dose of natural light when the weather is nice. I stayed in a traditional room, but book a historic room for a small additional fee if you want more of the building's historical feel. My room was clean, and I had no issues with the hot water. However, if it takes you a moment to get hot water, just keep in your realistic mind that you are in a building that has been around for almost 100 years. Amenities include free internet, a little fitness center, and a free airport shuttle. There is no pool so take a walk and enjoy downtown instead. Parking is available for a fee. The Courtyard Tulsa Downtown is a great place to stay for many reasons. The convenience of its downtown location is a major plus. Its uniqueness is another plus. Most Courtyard hotels are cookie-cutters of each other, but this one is actually different due to it being in a historic building. Some people love walking into a hotel and it being the exact same layout and everything regardless of where they are, but I am the opposite. Should I visit Tulsa again, I would want to stay here again.

Stayed here for the Route 66 Marathon/Half-marathon. They were one of the recommended host hotels, and several in our group got a good rate because of this. Check-in is on the second floor, and the front desk staff were nice. There is also a bar and sitting area (with plenty of outlets to charge devices) on the 2nd floor with a large screen TV. I really enjoyed the lounge sofa in front of the TV! They have Starbucks drinks, and when the bar isn't manned/womaned, the front desk staff can make you a coffee drink! I shared a room with a king bed and pull-out sofa with one other person, and it was plenty big. The bathroom was good (and I'm pretty picky about cleanliness). For safety, you do have to use your room card key to access upper floors with the rooms. Also, there is a small "store" next to the front desk with drinks, snacks, and toiletries. Wi-fi was not the best though.

The actual hotel room was fine. Room was clean and comfortable but that is it for positives. The biggest complaint had to do with the "Starbucks" and bistro. For a hotel that knew they were fully booked you would think they would staff appropriately. Service was horribly slow...45+ minutes for a single breakfast order at a counter service order is unacceptable and happened consistently from what I could tell. The actual coffee was horrible as well. This isn't a Starbucks and they should pull the branding. The poor girl working must have never been trained to pull espresso shots the correct way. The night before took 30+ minutes for a single order of French fries. Unfortunately being downtown there are limited other dining options on weekends when most places are closed but my recommendation is to search out anywhere else but here to eat. Check in on a Friday afternoon was courteous but family that arrived the day before midday was treated rudely with a lack of compassion for weary travelers with a toddler and other young child. Parking garage also had issues but seemed managed separately from hotel. If your only looking for a bed close to downtown, it works. Just don't plan on any of the amenities or consistently good customer service coming along with it.

Outstanding customer service!! the management team is awesome amd the day time people are great.. Down side is the night shift lady with the crazy hair. She missed my airport pick up and had me standing around for no reason! Not happy at all with her. however the rest of the hotel and staff makes up for it. Also the shuttle people are great as well and very pleasant!

I really enjoyed my overnight stay in Tulsa. Why? The Courtyard Tulsa Downtown. I loved the history of the Atlas building and that Marriott kept a lot of the original integrity of this building. My room on the 10th floor was lovely and the view was breathtaking. My room was massive with more than enough space for two people. I loved that the temperature was adjustable in the room. There were also freestanding heaters in the room and bathroom. That concerned me a bit and I turned my heaters off since I love keeping my hotel rooms cold. I get that the old building has some heating constraints, but they need to find a way to fix this problem in order to not be a fire hazard (in my opinion). Bonus points for providing so many outlets, that even I couldn't fill them all. Having more than enough outlets is a travelers unicorn! What I didn't love about this property? Paying $16 to park for 14 hours. Not cool, not cool at all. I'm a gold member with Marriott, and I didn't expect this. In addition to that, the parking garage feels unsafe and is hard to navigate. You must park above row D if staying at the hotel, elevators to hotel are on C, buttons in the elevator don't match the floor it takes you to, and there's an outdoor walkway to get to the hotel. Please improve this and make all of your visitors happier. This hotel does have a very small and limited store, but it could and should be expanded, especially for guests who arrived late (11:15 pm) like I did and nothing else is open in the area. Location of this hotel is key. It is central to everything in Tulsa and I took full advantage of that. Overall, a solid four star stay.

Decided to stay here just overnight with some girlfriends. I stayed here upon recommendation from a friend and really liked that it was conveniently located in downtown Tulsa since there is so much to do around downtown Tulsa! The parking is a breeze which I was actually dreading (it's a breeze IF you're visiting on the weekend!) parking on the street is free on the weekends! Otherwise, valet is $32 and parking in their parking garage Is $16. I decided to park on the street which I was hesitant about regarding break-ins, etc. but I asked the hotel people and they said they have never had any issues so I braved it and saved $16. Check in is on the 2nd floor and you must use a room key in order to go up to any floor other than the 2nd floor which was really nice. The ladies checking me In were super friendly and great at having conversation. They had a giant candy bowl, comfy sofas and offered us bottled water along with the cucumber water being served. I did notice there was a starbucks and actual restaurant located on that floor as well which is super convenient. The hotel itself was pretty great. Everything was super clean from the hallways to the bathrooms. The only complaint would be the paper thin blankets they had along with their rock hard sofa sleepers. I probably got 3 hours sleep due to tossing and turning since I could feel the metal springs. If you don't have to sleep on the sofa sleeper- don't! The water took a while to get warm but there is a sign about that in the bathroom and just run the sink water too and it gets warmer faster that way. Overall, it was a great value for your money and I definitely wouldn't mind staying here again!

This restaurant could use some work.
