Delicious food ~ Chicken livers were so good. Yummy Gravy, gravy, gravy on almost everything. Reasonably priced. Very busy, good service. Plenty of leftovers.

Probably some of the worst service I've had in a while. They weren't rude, it was just incredible how incompetent they were. We had 7 different people visit our table and only 1 was actually helpful and listened. We didn't order anything complicated or of the menu. They forgot to put in some of the order so our food came like 15 minutes apart. Half of the cottage Fry's (which are just waffle Fry's) were cold. The "chopped steak" was served to me raw even after 3 separate waiters asked how I wanted it cooked. They didn't refill drinks unless we stopped someone to do so. It was just awful from food, to service, to atmosphere. Even asking for To go boxes required 3 people. Don't go.

So It wasn't traditional take out, it turned out to be curbside pickup.. which I found odd as the Covid is no longer going on. I was staying in one of the hotels nearby but wasn't aware that I'd have to wait outside for the food if I called it in and went to pick it up. That's why there is one star for atmosphere because I never saw the inside. The guy was nice about the whole thing but i just kind of felt like a horse tied to a post or something idk. But other than that the food was PHENOMENAL!! I had the chicken fried steak meal which was enough for two meals. Literally the food tasted like Grandma cooked it or something. If your looking for a great home-cooked meal definitely give this place a try !

The fish and chips here are incredible. Extremely fresh and clean fish they’re tartar sauce taste like it’s house made and it’s fantastic as well. The lady that took my order over the phone was extremely friendly. Will be back.

Was in town and stopped by . We were satisfied. Our food was good , hot and fresh . I had chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy , okra and a soda . My daughter had the fried fish . Green beans were good but need real diced onion instead . But overall was a good place.
