Every time that I’ve gone in with my partner we’ve had a great time. The servers have always been really kind to us and it’s been a good vibe all around. We do tend to go on the later side when it’s less busy so maybe we get premium attention lol but overall it is always a good time. We’ve literally only had one negative experience with one specific server, but because of all the countless other positive experiences we kept returning because we knew it was just a one off type of event. Overall I would recommend!

I was here with my friend having a few drink and the lady that was bartenders was extremely rude throughout the entirety of our stay here. The food was delightful but in no ways will this bar ever receive my service again. First. The waitress was extremely cold and uncaring about customers. Second when we were getting the bill we didn't leave a tipdue to lack of funds. She proceeds to call us stingy, and complain to other customers about our dine in habits. At this point I've had enough and lashed out at her for being so rude and disrespectful. I would like to file a formal complaint to the owners if possible as that lady should not be working in any capacities. I think her name is Carrissa.

Lovely atmosphere, excellent tv screens with terrific accommodations for requests for specific sporting events. I’ve been here numerous times and the food is exceptional. The reason why I continue to come is because of the warm and gracious staff. Karissa and Naomi go out to their way to be hospitable and make this place my go to neighbourhood bar.

I really regret writing such a negative review for a new local business in Ajax as I really do go out of my way to support. None the less, the wings had absolutely no taste what so ever. The server tried her very best but significantly lacked professionalism and basic server training - I believe this can be rectified with appropriate training. None the less, the restaurant is spacious and has lots of potential. However the appropriate changes need to be made sooner rather than later before. I hope the manager and owner see this as constructive, I personally will not be returning.

Used to be a regular until this passed weekend. I went and had dinner with a friend the dinner was good but I ordered pasta to go for the next day. I found a foot long hair in my pasta. I took the meal back to the restaurant and was told they would not give me my money back. It was something she said they did not Do. I asked for the manager and was told he did not want to talk to me. I was then told by the waitress not to feel special because I was a regular customer. I was starting to lose it and demanded to talk to the manager. He refused again. I finally got my money back only to get rid of me. I live across the street and have a lot of family and friends in the area they said they will not be going back to the Emperor. The Emperor will not last long treating people the way they do.

My fiancé and I have become regulars here while visiting family in Durham. Service is exceptional, everyone is incredibly friendly, and the food is delicious! We’ve tried everything from the wings to the steak sandwich to the curry to the chicken souvlaki and everything has tasted amazing… even to my VERY picky partner! Drinks are extremely well priced and they open late. It’s a sports bar with huge tvs , so this isn’t really a place for “ambience,” but it’s a great place to enjoy delicious food and drinks!

We ordered from the Emperor for the first time and were very pleased. My husband had the Hot beef Dip and loved it! I had the clubhouse sandwich, I substituted the peameal bacon for sliced bacon with no extra cost or hassle. The portions were generous and tasty, we will definitely eat there again!!

Took my family here to celebrate.....the food was Great! Service was Great, and they served up the best sticky toffee pudding! The dessert was sooo good....I pre ordered it to serve at Christmas dinner to my extended family! We will definitely go back as soon as possible. Thank you to the cooks and staff for a great evening out!

My Son and I decided to finally go on a Wednesday to try the Wed. $7 burger special that we saw on their sign on Westney Rd. I was disappointed to learn that to get just the burger for $7 you have to order a drink, which we ordered 2 diet pepsi's @ $5.98. Then we ordered 1 bowl of fries to share @ $5.99, and then tip and tax put us at $30 bucks. The food was good but I wish they put the rules on the sign outside so people are better prepared when walking in to order. Because next time we can just order two burgers that come with fries at $11.99 × 2, without having to order drinks.

I was in today for the wing special today , it wasn't that busy but my order got messed up by the kitchen.I ate 3 wings when I noticed it's not medium but I got hot instead , I didn't get a server check if my food was ok ? I had to find a server to tell her this is not what I ordered, she said they will make my order again , once they brought my food it was minus my 3 wings and it was heavy on the medium sauce . I asked the server why it's not my full order I placed and she said that's what management wants ? I think that is bad customer service practice , they should make customers want to stay and not leave when we are trying to support restaurant during covid . Horrible experience for loyal customer.

Really wanted to go down in person since The Emperor is in such a convenient location but I was feeling quite rough and decided to order through SkipTheDishes. Unfortunately this turned out to be a bit of a mistake.The prices of items are higher and differ from those on the online menu and I suspect the on-site menu as well, please keep that in mind because you also pay service, delivery, and tip fees which add about 10$ to the cost if you order a main and a side and significantly impacts the value. That's the only reason this isn't a full 5-star review.With that said, I had the fettuccine chicken alfredo pasta with a small caesar salad and they were absolutely glorious, well-packed and came with complementary bread sticks as well. Utterly delicious, but lesson learned - next time I'll just deal with how I feel and walk down because the savings firmly discourage ordering delivery, but it's absolutely worth it to enjoy some time inside!The selection is brilliant at The Emperor and the facility itself is awesome. I've heard from many friends about how excellent the place is - a full package of service, quality and environment - from what I've seen and heard it's a lovely place to be and I sincerely look forward to eating in and bringing some folks in the future. I was really happy to see such a great restaurant open here, and even happier to see their roaring success! I sincerely hope they become an Ajax staple.I'd greatly appreciate if the prices were consistent across the physical, online and SkipTheDishes storefronts though the convenience was more than worth it to me tonight.

Came to eat here from Toronto! Great service. We had a waitress named Amber that was time efficient, and gave great feedback on food to help us make the best choice. I would highly recommend this location for great food and amazing service.

Me and my wife went here tonight to this lil spot Tucked away in the corner of the mall on Westney and Magill Saw the signs for the specials which piqued our interest Inside the restaurant is nicely decorated Nice and quiet inside TVs on all the booths with a lots of TVs in the bar area Service was great Our waitress was super nice and helpful Food was delish Had the Irish nachos to start Wife had the chicken club wrap and I had the BLT They load you up good with some nice crispy fries Super good prices Definitely would go back again Another nice find in Durham region!!!
