A small local donut shop in Almonte, baked on-site. We make a point of visiting when in the neighborhood to pick up a delicious half a dozen. Favourites are apple cinnamon , Boston cream, maple cream and lemon cream. They offer a free donut for your birthday!

Omg this place offers so many kinds of donuts with luscious toppings/glaze/fillings but made with a dough that is only lightly sweet, just the way we like it! Instead of getting one each, we left with 7 donuts including one called “burger” ?? I wish they’re closer to where we live!!

Our favorite donut shop! My youngest doesn’t like cake, so we buy donuts for his birthday every year. They’re always a hit! Love the selection and staff is always amazing!
The donuts here are awesome!!!! Also the price is very reasonable compared with those fancy donuts shop. It’s more health not oily. It’s the must-go place every time visit Almonte.

Always great, healthier choice of doughnuts, with a less "heavy" fatty taste than regular doughnuts. Best Eclair i've had in years today there. Coffee is always also great. Service is very friendly everytime. See all above for yourself. Keep up the great work HFT!!

These doughnuts are AWESOME! Here’s a photo of the dozen we bought this afternoon. They also have a number of gluten-free varieties each week. For whimsy, try the “hamburger” doughnut! The staff are friendly and efficient. The doughnuts are a little more expensive than the chain offerings, but so much more flavourful and healthy. A gem in Almonte, ON!

Someone told me, as a first timer in Almonte, to hit up this donut shop. Not far off the main drag, I came upon it on a Sat with no one around! All mine! The lady staff member was super kind/friendly and told me a bit about what they do here.These donuts have 75% less fat/cholesterol than normal donuts??? 2 please. And then she threw in another one! The freebie I chose was a sour cream glaze. Lordie... it was good. I also chose for later, an apple fritter and a double chocolate cake one.The apple fritter 2 days later kept in the fridge was amazing. The choc will be my victim tomorrow. ;)They are not huge and I kept telling myself I did my exercises today and they're healthier than most! They really tasted like normal donuts. Sweet and melt in the mouth!The famous hamburger donut was sold out but I saw a pic of one. Amazing resemblance!Very reasonable in price.I'll be back!!!
