A complete disappointment . It took them 1 hour to bring food - which turned out to be average. They couldn’t make a cappuccino but charged me promising that next time they will make a double for me.What a joke of a restaurant

Improve your service and server attitude or consider closing down the restaurant.

Wish I hadn’t eaten here. I ordered a cappuccino along with the vegetable crêpe and the Mill Street salad. The vegetable crêpe purported to have grilled? vegetables and feta, but the feta was non existent. As in probably less than a tablespoon. Vegetables were not grilled and not very good, the cheapest variety such as peppers, zucchini and mushrooms. A terrible tasting crêpe. There was no salt or pepper on the table. Apparently the server had come to offer my partner pepper while it was in the washroom, but never came back. The concept of a tent of service does not exist there at all.My cappuccino came in the form of a small espresso shot and when I asked for a proper cappuccino, I got a very thin, gummy coating of milk on the espresso shot. My food partner ordered the cherry chicken crêpe with the red bell pepper soup. The soup looked as it was way made with water and thickener, and they said their crêpe tasted OK. I will never go back and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The two crêpes (which came with a soup or salad side) along with the pretend cappuccino and a 20% came to $55.

Stopped in on Saturday February 24th and ordered the carrot ginger pear soup to go. The soup really had no flavour and we were very disappointed.

Went today. The coffee and latte taste good. Mushroom soup taste and smell good 4/5. Got avocado and spinach salad. That disappoint me. There were hardly any chunk of avocado. It was all spinach. Didn’t like it at all. Would have been great if added more avocado as the name says. Seems like spinach salad2/5. Didn’t tried the crepe but look good

This place is great if you don’t mind eating food eaten by others!!! Went to Mill Street Crepe Company in Almonte today for brunch today. Got seated at a lovely window table. Was a bit slow but there seemed to be minimal staff and a computer system that took a huge amount of time from the servers. Finally ordered coffee which took about 20 minutes to get to us. After another 30 minutes three of our four breakfasts were up on the pass, however, the late staff arrival took them two of them to the wrong table. We were sure they were ours but I guess they were not. After another minute the staff realized their mistake and recovered our breakfasts from the table after the diners started eating them and returned them to the pass where they were taken out of sight. The third plate was delivered to my husband and it was the most messed up sad eggs Benny ever along with a couple nasty looking undercooked sides of bacon. The two wrongly delivered plates reappeared and were given to me and one of our dining companions. I asked if these were the ones that were given to the other table and our waitress said yes. I sent them back immediately we would pay for our coffees and that’s it. The forth plate was never arrived and they tried a second time to bring the “used food” back saying they were “fixed”. Over 45 minutes to make our breakfast and you “fixed” them in 30 seconds????? DISGUSTING!!!! DO NOT EAT THERE!!!!!!!!!

Used to be a place where I'd make the trip from Ottawa East to come lunch and shop. Now I'll shop but not eat here. 1st fruit flies all over the restaurant on my plate and window ledge was covered. Second $4 for a cup of coffee! Come on. Crepes were mediocre sadly not as good as a few years ago. You need to step up your game to get me back.

Deeply disappointed!! We drove from Ottawa for this. The ingredients were tasteless. I had heard positive reviews from friends but .... In addition the service was slow and the waiter seemed almost deliberately inattentive. We had the mushroom soup, salmon crepe, crepe Suzette and the double bacon crepe. ALL BAD. SO SAD!

For a restaurant that only serves chicken and ham to be out of both at 1:30 on a Thursday (the beginning of their week) leaves me wondering why we bothered to stop.
