Mediocre food in a nice location directly at the river. Bacon on the burger was cold and stiff. Overall, a bit overpriced for what they offer. Bonus points for good beer and friendly service.

This location in Almonte is so beautiful! We stopped in for a tea on the patio after having ridden motorcycles for awhile and grabbed a large fry to share for a quick snack. The young waitress was so helpful and friendly, she made us feel at home and with a smile. We asked if we could enjoy the sun and Waterview from the patio and she said sure even though it wasn't really open yet. She followed up quickly with menus and promptly brought out our teas followed by the French fries, and they were delicious!?Best service and location and gauging by their fries the food would be very good also?Well done Barley Mow Almonte ??? Will definitely stop in again when nearby!

Deep fried zucchini, too large of pieces, made it not tasty. Chicken wrap not very tasty

Cozy in the winter and beautiful in the summer. A must visit patio in the summer. Their two large patios overlook the falls and is perfectly situated in the village of Almonte. Love this location!

Food was excellent, we were able to get a corner booth in the back overlooking the river.

This food establishment has been on the decline for months now. As a frequent customer for over 3 years, I can no longer say this is one of my favourite regular restaurants. The value and quality of the food is very poor. $16 for a plate of sweet potato fries, worst rip off ever. Their butter chicken and french onion soup are pathetic. I hope they try to revisit their business model as I will not be coming back.

Order came with a side of fries, but they were terrible. It was like they had been reheated multiple times. No offer to replace or compensate, just a "oh, I will let the kitchen know". Well, thanks, but we just paid for two meals that we couldn't eat. Bill was $60.

They were missing some key items on the menu when we visited. How do run out of poutine in Canada? ?? ?

Throwing down some stars for Amanda the bartender. Since our first visit during Covid when my family and I had just moved here and didn’t know a single person in town, Amanda has always made us feel welcome and has gone above and beyond to show kindness to us. Telling our girls stories about her journey in life, making our son feel special, and always providing excellent service while doing so. Thanks yo.

The food has gone down hill since a year ago and nearly doubled in price. I've eaten there a number of times over the years and in Kanata as well. For $20+ I expect more and better. I had the Philly cheese burger. The crusty roll was about 7" and the cheese you could see through, the meat, what ever it was, was burnt to a crisp. The shoestring fries weren't any better. The place needs a major upgrade physically and cuisine wise. I won't be back.
