This was was my first time in anniceburg and my friends took me for dinner. The place is amazing and so was the food. I will definitely go again. I had the Seafood platter. The house salad. They make their own dressing which is bussing.

The soup/salad is so good they're almost worth the price by themselves. Unsurprisingly, the actual menu is good too.Great terrace view of the park.

First the GOOD things:Food was amazing. Lamb Chops were to die for. Very juicy and succulent. Chef made them Med-Rare. It was amazing. Chicken soup was amazing. It was very simple and easy going. Wife had ordered pasta with Blush sauce (alfredo + tomato). It was amazing too.Now the BAD part:I wish I could give Zero stars for service. The server was too irrational. She could have been nice while serving and taking orders. No greetings whatsoever, No smile, no Nothing. I mean if you are having a hard day, take a break.P.S: I might do a takeout, but not going for a dine-in.

Hands down, the lamb at Riccado's in Amherstburg is the best I've ever tasted in my life, and trust me, I've savoured plenty of lamb dishes over the years. The flavour, tenderness, and sheer perfection of each bite were unmatched. If you're a lamb enthusiast like me, you absolutely must experience this culinary masterpiece! I should have taken pics before devouring them.

Overall, not bad. Decent dinner portions. Salad comes with most meals, but it's like 3 bites and you're done.....tasty dressing, though. Not a warm atmosphere and very little ambience indoors. Staff could be friendlier.

First time there and definately last time there. Felt like a soup kitchen. Salad was pathetic ..maybe 5 bites. Haahaa. and the steak was overcooked and rubbery. Freezing anywhere you sat in there. Some Ppl had their coats on. Service was pretty sad. How they stay open is beyond me. My friends meal, the salmon was a very small portion and luke warm temps...... for what we paid it was bad. Never would recommend and I warn ppl to avoid it like the plaque.

I am so impressed with the Chefs, server and location. The food was one of the best meals I have had in a long time and I want to thank the Chef or Chefs! Our server Jackie was wonderful and respects what she represents at Riccardo's and ofcourse their location in Amherstberg is perfect, but it really does come down to the food made in house, nothing less than clean excellent quality food! What a terrific place to have a meal, prices are so reasonable. Thank you Jackie, the Chefs and Riccardos!

Our 1st visit there tonight, and we were impressed with everything. All I can say is get a Sangria on your beverage list for my better half, but everything was amazing and plentiful, and great service as well. Will definitely be back. ;-)

I recently dined at Ricardo's for the first time.Firstly, I want to commend our server for providing excellent service. Her attentiveness and friendliness truly enhanced my dining experience. However, I must express my disappointment regarding the food. While the presentation was appealing, I found that the dishes lacked the depth of flavour I was expecting. My son ordered chicken parmesan. He ordered an additional side of penne, which the server made us aware that this would be an additional charge, we didn't have a problem with that. The additional charge for approximately a 1/2 cup of penne with sauce was $14.00. The salads that came with the entrees had maybe a handful of lettuce with a couple of petite diced tomatoes on top and that was it. I know restaurants have to be profitable, but that is ridiculous!Don't think that I would return to eat at this establishment as I have had better Italian food at other restaurants.

You would think walking in that it would be loud, but the space is very quiet. A relaxed atmosphere. The staff is attentive but not so much that you feel rushed.I look forward to my next visit.Wheelchair accessibility: All ground floor with no steps.
