Going to start by pointing out that Frankie’s is a ghost kitchen for Lone Star Texas Grill. It’s not its own restaurant, doesn’t have a physical store front, and you can only order through Uber Eats. All the food here is the exact same food they serve at Lone Star, so if you’ve already been there and didn’t enjoy it, don’t order here.Ordered for the first (and last) time through UberEats. I got the chicken sandwich and fries combo. The food wasn’t inedible, but it definitely wasn’t good. Chicken was flavourless, not crispy, and not spicy at all. It tasted like it had some kind of mild sweet BBQ sauce on it rather than actual seasoning or a spicy sauce. They said they use a garlic bread bun, but you can’t even taste the garlic. The whole burger was soggy with some kind of dark brown, almost black sauce or oil dripping off of it. Curly fries were okay, nothing special, but the portion size was pretty small. None of their combos come with a drink, which is odd because that’s the standard of what a combo is. On top of this, they forgot the sauce I ordered. 2 stars because the food was actually still hot when it got here and the curly fries were decent. Definitely would not eat here again though, even for free.

Mediocre at best. Burger was hot, while fries got cold. On an 18 degrees celsius day with little to no wind and being first in line for delivery, it leads me to believe that the fries were sitting out for quite some time. The burger was "okay", but it wasn't spicy at all. It's not the embodiment of "hot chicken" that you would get from Nashville. It's the embodiment of someone who did a quick Google search, but changed the recipe to tone down the spice. If it says hot in the name, I expect it to be hot.

The food is extremely unethical. Food comes with a personal take home layer of oil sure to make your heart have an attack by the time you’re 25. Food comes dressed in coldness, with no taste other than the hard to chew chicken. Serving sizes are absolutely embarrassing, this chain is so poorly run, I feel bad for the staff because clearly management does not care about the output of food. -10/10 (negative not positive). Also their coleslaw is almost like someone threw cabbage on the floor went for a washroom break and came back. I am not usually so upset for food, but this was just pathetic…

The first two times I had Frankie's Hot Chicken I enjoyed it and highly recommended it however may last two orders have shown that things are going downhill. One of the biggest issues is the lack of Nashville style sauce on the chicken. The first couple times the chicken was completely covered in sauce but the last order there was just a bit of sauce applied to the chicken before the bun was put on leaving 80% of the chicken without sauce and nothing more than a chicken tender sandwich. When the manger at Lone Star responded to my critique she said the sauce was applied per specifications and tried to blame lack of quality on 3rd party delivery services. The chicken that arrives in your order will definitely not match the pictures from Frankie's social media pages or website. Come on Lone Star you can do better!

We are regulars at lone star and herd about frankies chicken there. We tried to order online for delivery tonight and the website kept crashing. We called and placed our order. 20 minutes later we get a call from them saying that they wont honour their online promos and that Id have to place the order online. We tried to tell them over and over again that the site is crashing. They ultimately choose to loose our business entirely then to honour the price online when their website wouldnt work. They also tried to say its an uber eats deal only, however I was on their site, not uber eats. Wont be trying to order again or ever going to lonestar since they are affiliated with each other. Managers were “pablo” and “wildcard”.

The curly fries with Frankie's secret sauce ? maybe it's just me I don't know but the chicken strips in the burger seamed a little overcooked or cooked in oil that was older? Maybe the darkened look is part of this style of chicken ? regardless it was still a pretty good burger and I mean come on 2 for $13.99?!

Portion sizes are ridiculous, you’d get bigger chicken tenders if you go to McDonald’s and order nuggets. The manager is horrible for customer service as well. Definitely do not recommend!

I’m surprised by the negative reviews because my lunch was fantastic. Nashville hot chicken tenders and onion rings. Chicken was delicious and crispy. Onion rings *looked* like a small portion, but they are so big it was actually more then enough. I will order from them again for sure.

TLDR: Disgusting flavours. Burnt and overcooked sides. Starving may be a better option. Full review below. This review is for "Frankie's Nashville Hot Chicken" at "156 West Drive".Introducing Frankie, from delicious to atrocious. This location used to be better, now only better at being bad. Let's start with the sauce, but wait..what sauce? Apparently that doesn't exist here. Instead your chicken strips will be seasoned with something reminiscent of donkey hygiene. It's the worst thing I've ever tasted, my god. Straight to the trash. The Fries and Onion Rings were burnt and overcooked although still somewhat tasty but with the little serving they gave, I may as well just eat grass for the same nutrition. For a store that's all about the sauce, maybe actually get some?Do better, Frankie's.

Ordered Frankie’s on a whim last night and I was not disappointed. I got the chicken and waffles, definitely something I would order again, the waffles were tasty, thr chicken was crispy(even for delivery) and the syrup is to die for. 5* Had the leftovers today for breakfast, perfect reheat in an air fryer.. KEEP IT UP FRANKIE

I was feel hungry AF so went for some Frankie's Nashville Chicken. I was expecting it to be amazing, little did I know...I ordered a 9 piece hot tenders with curly fries and onion rings and a 3 piece naked tenders . At first glance everything looked and smelled delicious. I bit into the hot tenders and it was moist and juicy, just what I expected, but BAM! there was a bitter aftertaste. I tried the onion rings and curly fries and they were not too bad. I then continued to eat the tender but had the same horrible taste. I decided to try the plain tender and it also had a bitter taste and I could taste that oil was being burnt and not cleaned out. I figured it was from the oil, most likely the restaurant could be re using, I could be wrong, but something is off. Ps the coleslaw sucks

The store was not busy they took over 25 minutes to make the small order. The chicken was small and over cooked. The very small amount of curly fries was a joke and last but not least the pickle coleslaw was so so runny. For what they charge it is definitely not worth the price. I will never order from this place again. Considering that Lone Star keeps this sad chicken in their restaurant puzzles me. You need to do way better for the price you charge.
