After finishing the 16km trail at Silent Lake, my husband and I stopped at Swiss Bear Cafe Bistro for lunch, and we are so happy we did! We both ordered schnitzel sandwiches with a large fries to share to dine in, and we were shocked how quickly the food was prepared and even more floored with how scrumptious every bite was! Wow! A diamond in the woods! Wonderful family run restaurant! Great food and big portions!We had their pierogies as an appetizer!Wow so tasty and love the sweet apple compost with these! Fantastic schnitzel! We had polish style. Extremely flavorful and delicious. One of the best schnitzel I ever had! We had a piece of apple cranberry tart. So good! We were in heaven! The staffs were very friendly and the atmosphere of the place was so lovely. The space was filled with bears!? The owner must be a huge fan. Very inviting and friendly place. I’m a happy customer.
