The iconic We's Chips is always my fav summer destination. I am soo glad they were open early this year and I am looking forward to many trips there this year and in the future! Also thank you so much for adding seasoning salt, its my fav and I am so happy you offer it now!

During the fall, my girlfriend and I drove to Arnprior to visit friends. On our way home, we decided to stop at 'Wes Chips' for some French Fries. The cashier was extremely rude, while talking very fast as I tried to place my order. Maybe I should have just left, but decided to ignore the disrespectful cashier. A few minutes later the cashier told me to come closer to the open window. The cashier loudly said to everyone within hearing range, "Your order is almost ready. The cook will make a noise when your order is done." Next, I heard a loud and long sneeze from the back of their fast-food stand. Handing me the open box of French Fries with a devious look on her face the cashier said, "We added an extra ingredient to your fries!" I'm sure that you can easily guess what this "extra ingredient" was. Since my food was tampered with, I ended up leaving and throwing it into the garbage. Given what happened, we will never go back to 'Wes Chips'. It's disgusting how 'Wes Chips' treats their customers. 'Wes Chips' only takes cash. (They don't accept either credit cards and/or debit.). The chip stand isn't sanitary or clean. The cashier handles money and food, but never washes their hands. Given our outrageous experience, I can't recommend 'Wes Chips' to anyone. Many people have told me the chips were much better when the previous owners ran this business. The French Fries were always hot and crispy, not soft and mushy tasting like they are now. I would have given a rating of zero stars, but that isn't possible when leaving a review.

Amazing fries! My first time here and didn’t know they strictly made fries, that right there earned my full respect to be open for over 63 years strictly serving delicious fries!So many picnic tables! Awesome atmosphere and beyond what i expected for customer service
On our way to go camping we stopped in and the fries were delicious!! Super crispy!! There were also two lovely ladies with big smiles serving even on a plus 40 day!!

Stop on a trip though, my mom grew up here, and grew up with these fries. Absolutely delicious and just as good as she remembered. It's a bang for your buck and they are super friendly!
