I frequently order the sweet and sour chicken from Aji Sai on Bayfield Street in Barrie. How a sushi restaurant can make the best S&S chicken is beyond me, but they do! And their prices are fantastic! Add in a few selections of sushi, and you have a meal that will not only tantalize your taste buds, but fill your stomach as well!

Everything we ordered was absolutely fantastic — various maki, sashimi, and appetizers, and it was all amazing. Special note on the sashimi and yakitori. The sashimi (all of it) was perfectly prepared, and the yakitori was juicy, crispy, and altogether delicious.

First time ordering, got take-out. I got the sweet potato tempura rolls and the avocado tempura rolls, the tempura in the avocado rolls was like sand, and the tempura in the sweet potato rolls was mushy, you could see the oil dripping. The spicy mayo didn't have that much flavour and neither did the rolls. I would not come back here unfortunately. Not sure about the fish rolls though but the veggie are a no go.

The AK47 Roll is a MUST try!!! Absolutely delicious! The pad thai was also very good. Generous amount of shrimp! I will be back for sure. 5 stars!

A friend took me to her first sushi experience spot, and I heartily agree that it is one of the better places for AYCE outside of GTA. Service was good, food was good, price lower than most in Muskoka. I had lots of nigiri, my friend had her regular dragon roll, and we were in and out of there in a reasonable time, happily fed.

Chicken Katsu Don was a bit soggy by the time I brought it home....I picked up right when it was finished and drove home in 7 mins to eat...it was good but I was hoping for some crispiness

The sashimi quality is good here. The rolls are hit and miss so far for me, but I've also gone for their different style rolls oppose to my favs to try them out. I got the large sashimi plate and was surprised to find crab and shrimp pieces included as sashimi, however it makes sense by the price point. Definitely recommend getting the medium plate instead which didn't have those items. Service has been great every time, friendly, quick, no errors.

My husband and I ordered from here last night at 830 and didn’t receive it until 1030 ( used Skip the dishes) our food was cold, the tempora tasted like it was made hours ago as there was no crispyness to it. The salmon tasted like it went bad, the dimond sushi roll was missing the spicy sauce on it, the cheese wantons were cold inside, the only thing that was good was the chicken teriyaki . Pretty much we spent 80$ and couldn’t eat more than half of our food because it didn’t taste good, cold and the salmon tasted like it went bad.

Good food. I found it a bit expensive. Taste is good. Options could be better.

Great place! Food was awesome, and it's the best miso soup I've ever had!

Ordered food from there while at a Hotel, they forgot any utensils with soup and meals. They were rude and said to “drink the soup” and the food was bland and tough (tired to eat teriyaki chicken and rice with my hands) since we couldn’t eat it and had no way to store it and the hotel didn’t have any utensils it ended up in the trash.
