I visited Valiant's for Locallicious which was such a good deal! The food was tasty though it did take longer than expected. I really enjoyed their poutine! The staff were lovely too. It's definitely one of the best places downtown for vegan food.

Great food and prices if your vegan and if your not vegan. I’ve been going for years and never been dissatisfied.
My friend and I stopped here on a whim for lunch because we wanted to eat something healthy. Despite not being vegans, we were pleasantly surprised to find out how much we enjoyed the food - it was very delicious and flavourful and blew away our expectations! Everything is made in-house (except for the bread) and prepared fresh. Love the variety of options they have on the menu! We would not hesitate to stop by here again. The atmosphere is also causal and cozy and the customer service is stellar.

First let me preface that WE ARE NOT VEGAN… to say we enjoy food in all its forms covers us best. Came in after seeing pics online. We asked the lady at the front questions which she gladly answered. We ordered the awesome burger with black bean and sweet potato patty. She also brought us out a sample of the “bacon”, “pepperoni”, and “beest”. They were all delicious. When the burger arrived it was HUGE. We cut it in half and shared it.No question it was AMAZING! Didn’t miss the meat… most definitely back for the Reuben!

We order their weekly meal box every week, and the variety of meals and flavour has us hooked! kudos to the chef, Michael, the food is to die for. We don't live close enough for delivery so Thursdays we get their pizza deal when we go to pick up our meal box, highly recommend the bacun mac pizza and their caesar salad is the best vegan caesar in town!

Most options on the menu are very reasonably priced, and the food is fresh, with most of their ingredients either prepared in house or purchased locally. Because everything is freshly prepared, there does seem to be a bit of a wait even when they're not very busy, but the proprietors are friendly, and the food is delicious.
