I had heard some great things about this place and decided to give it a try today. I'm honestly surprised with how disappointing the experience was. I ordered 2 burgers and onion rings for takeout. The onion rings were good, but the burgers were both smashed up pretty badly and were falling apart from being very wet. The burger patties themselves were bland and almost tasted steamed. For a $35 order I expected much better than this. I picked up a much better burger from Burger King the other day, so your money would definitely be better spent elsewhere.

I have been an enormous fan of burger royale since they opened, and I usually love introducing friends or family to this neighbourhood gem but my last 2 experiences have not been good.Missing items, incorrect orders and rude/disinterested employees. With the increased cost of living, eating out is a luxury and while I don’t mind paying for the great food I’ve been able to expect from burger royale, I don’t see myself returning any time soon. So disappointed!

We ordered through Uber Eats. Very unimpressed with the packaging. Burgers, fries and gravy were just thrown in a plastic bag, resulting in the the gravy leaking all over everything, and the burgers being 'smushed'. All that could be forgiven if the food was amazing, but sadly, it was just mediocre. One burger had two burger's worth of pickles on it. I like pickles, but come on! Also, the fries were soggy, and had a lot of black spots on them. If you're going to do fresh cut fries, trim the eyes and bruises before you serve them!

Ordered 2 burgers with fries. 1 of the fry orders were to be well done. We ended up somehow with 3 separate fries, NOT 1 order well done and all were cold. Burgers are always amazing. They need to listen to what people are ordering and their requests.
This was my experience at this establishment this evening. I would like to say that the young lady working the front counter was very polite and there was no issue with service. As for the food ….The onion rings were soaked in cheap oil that was obviously old. The fries were cheap frozen fries and were cold and again cooked with the same cheap old oil. The burger was served on a thick dry bun loaded in condiments and the patty was so thin you could barely taste it on the burger. Will not waste my time going to this place. So sorry I really high hopes for this places based on some reviews and poles.

Burger Royal does have really good food. I will give them that. But their service is terrible. I went in the other day and was told my burger would be 10-15 mins and it took them 28 mins to make just a cheese burger!!! Nothing else!! This isn’t the first time this has happened. This has probably happened 4 or 5 times over the last 7 times I have stopped in. Those are terrible averages. They only had 3 ppl working and they were clearly under staffed for being around dinner time. Not to mention there was no fifth gear they were all stuck in first gear. No hustle, just dragging their feet. It was sad to watch how slow they were for how busy they were. It was painful to watch. They clearly don’t care about customer service. I feel like when ever I decide to give them another shot its the same disappointment. Burger Royal is making it much easier to not go there even though they have good food, they really lack in the service part. Great food is nothing without proper and professional service!! I hope they can get their act together!

Everything I've ordered from here has been amazing. I love the retro style of the cozy interior, and you can watch old shows like the golden girls or the smurfs while you wait for your food. I usually get the picante rey burger that has a little tangy spice to it, and their milkshakes are certainly royalty.
