First time ordering there. My husband enjoyed the owners company while waiting for my take out. Very nice man he said. Sorry but rice on my rolls was mush. Couldn’t eat it. We will try one more time because sometimes people have bad days.

The food was soo good, the Canadian and the Maple are my favourite!!! Staff is super friendly and gives good recommendations. Can't wait to go back! Bring a sweater it was a bit cold!Dietary restrictions: They were good with not cross contamination (celiac).Kid-friendliness: My child had a great time and staff was very relaxed and friendly.

We went there for all you can eat at lunch for 2 oh. The sushi was delicious. The only thing that i was expecting to eat and they don’t have it is SALMON sashimi. Hope next time they will have it.

Ordered food from skip the dishes at 6:36pm. Tried to call the restaurant a dozen times and their phone trips to a voicemail that isn't set up. finally got our food delivered at 9:03pm. two and a half hours after we ordered, our food was useless as we ended up ordering a curry 1 hour 30 minutes after we ordered from diamond, rec'd order and ate it before this order arrived. Will not use again

I've had a lunch and a dinner from Diamond while visiting Barrie. The bento box lunch had nice variety and was very fresh. The tempura was crispy. The Deluxe Sushi dinner was a nice treat with some interesting seafood. Both meals were a good value in the current market. The people are friendly and service was prompt. I'll be back.

Very friendly staff and delicious generous portion of food. Will definitely recommend to friends.
Much cleaner since the new management has taken over. The lady at the front was so nice and welcoming. The music choices were a little odd for a restaurant (linkin park, evenesance) and a little too loud for me . The food was fine nothing to write home about but better quality than before.Everytime the door outside opened it made it very cold in the restaurant considering we were sat near the door. My only other complaint was that when I was there we were the only people there. When another group came in they got sat directly behind us with small children who were a little rowdy, which ruined the "date night" mood for us. However the service and food and cleanliness of the restaurant are much better than the last time I visited.

I have been here before and thought to give it another go.. My partner and I were blown away at the difference in food, and service. The food was incredibly fresh and we got everything we ordered (previous experience- we didn’t). The service is distinctly different as well, it’s so polite and prompt. The perfect amount of service.. not lacking, or over the top either. With noticeable changes, we knew something was different.. then found out it’s under new ownership! You’re doing positive things Diamond Sushi! We’re happy to say this is our new sushi spot ?
