The food was good value for the price in terms of taste and portions. The server was excellent, patient, attentive and polite. I had the Steak Benedict sub fruit for tomato which was nice. Solid four stars because the food was good, not amazing or over the top like some other breakfast places I have been to for the same price. Five stars for the server alone. I definitely would recommend for the Barrie area if you are looking for good value in a nice experience.

Honestly, if I can do half a star I would...I wouldn't go back. The server didn't check up on us I had to ask for ketchup, and napkins. I'm dairy intolerant and they put butter on my toast knowing I can't have dairy as I asked her for almond milk because I can't have dairy.You can taste they don't change their oil. The food wasn't great. I ordered the express and had a few bites didn't like it. You can taste the grease so much.. it made my boyfriend and I have an upset stomach.The only thing that was good was their home made jam.

The home fries tasted and felt old, cooked several hours beforehand. The hollandaise sauce did not taste very good, and had the consistency of being refrigerated for a couple days. I got the wrong order, but the server was the saving grace in this review. She quickly fixed the mistake. so thank you.

My sister and I have been to Flapjacks a couple of times now, once in the summer and once in the winter. Each time we got standard breakfast fare (an omelette, eggs and bacon, etc.). The price was very reasonable, and they didn't skimp on the portions either! Food was delicious.

I’m wondering if their strawberry jam is homemade because MAN that tasted good and fresh. Can’t wait to be able to to in!(We did curb-side pick up as this is during the third wave of the pandemic)

I decided to go for breakfast with my family and friends on a sunday late morning. Every breakfast place was extremely busy.... hmmmm ... not here.... i found out why !! No air conditioning, just the door wide open.... ridiculously hot inside i was sweating. Ordered traditional breakfasts and children's meals. Im very easy going but the worst breakfast ive ever had. Eggs so hard. Burnt dry sausage and the home fries were for sure not made today, dry and disgusting. Even the coffee was horrendous ?. Ive never had a breakfast when a 8 year old tells you the food was terrible and had a sore belly after. Ive been to other franchises and they were great. The owner seemed very rude and didn't want to be thete...Sorry... dont waste your money or time here.
