The menu and service were ahead of my expectations. I surely enjoyed the atmosphere of this spot. Awesome restaurant to take the family out for dinner.

You get either a cheese or dessert fondue plus an entree for $30. So a couple share a cheese and dessert fondue and each have their own entree. There is more than enough food for a hungry couple and the quality of all the ingredients was excellent. With the cheese fondue there are four cheese choices. There are also four choices of cooking oil or broths for the entries. Each entree came with three dipping sauces. There is a limited wine selection. I would encourage Barrie residents to support this very enjoyable, great value and different style of restaurant. We shall return.

Was really curious about experiencing this place. Like other reviews said, the menu takes a minute to understand with the serving folks guiding you through it. The $40 four course is more than worth the extra few dollars. Salads are crisp and fresh, cheese dips are worth the visit all by themselves. We had red wine which was very pleasant.

This place was great.

What a great night! My husband surprised me with a date night sans children. We absolutely loved this place:) So fun and eclectic! The service was great and Paul, the owner was wonderful!! We have been to the melting pot in the States numerous times so it was exciting to find a local spot that provides a high quality fondue experience but with a more relaxed, fun atmosphere! The live music was AWESOME! All in all, I was sad to read some of these reviews because it really was a great night out and we'll definitely be back!! ...in fact, we even bought a giftcard to give as a gift :) would definitely recommend!!! If you get the 4 course- you will not even come close to finishing....but it is worth the effort!!!! :)

July, 2018; This place is excellent - IF you go during a slow time. My first experience was fantastic, the waiter explained what all the ingredients were as he prepared them, was very friendly. It was a long experience, but we weren't left hanging waiting for anything. However, I wouldn't say that the prices are worth the tiny portion sizes. And, unfortunately, when it's busy, this place doesn't give more than the one waiter they give during the slow hours. The cooks have no hustle in them either, and despite being openly visible from the tables, would still just putter about. Even having a reservation doesn't guarantee you'll get a table when you walk in the door. Once, a group of us waited over an hour for the table, then waited an hour for what we had ordered, and within five minutes of them providing it to us asked for the check and made it clear we were unhappy with the service. In the waiter's defense, he did express his apologies and gave us our fondue for free. In addition, it was an elderly gentleman who clearly couldn't have been moving fast if he wanted to. As such, I put more blame on his managers and the chef's (who he had to remind several times about what the orders were) than on him. I just have pity on the other people in the restaurant - in the several hours that we were there, none of the other tables (several of which were clearly in the second to last or almost last part of their meal) left before we did. To make matters worse, during a solid hour or two there was live music by one of the chefs (who perhaps maybe should have been working?). Live music is usually fun, but this restaurant is way too small to accommodate it, and my table has the unfortunate luck of being right beside him. We couldn't hear ourselves think, let alone each other. And none of this is to mention, as I did earlier, their portion sizes. A group of for gets two pots of cheese, when one of their pots could easily serve one person. Their vegetables and meats servings were small and took forever to cook when one must do it oneself, which I wouldn't mind if it was enough to fill you up, which it isn't. The chocolate fondues were delicious, but again, four people and two pots when one pot could serve one person. The treats to go with the chocolate was clearly store bought, and largely stale. I really don't recommend this place. The off chance you'll be a lucky one with a good experience isn't worth the (at minimum) 3-4 hours you'll spend here.

Our anniversary dinner here was amazing! The eclectic decor is a favourite of ours and the server we had had an amazing attitude. It was a pleasure to meet the owner and we were delighted be live music (a beautiful accordion session and an acoustic guitar) while we dined and the menu was diverse. They were great in accommodating my gluten free diet and it was so much fun to make the fondu and different dishes right at our own table. Bar selection is good; we will for sure be back soon!

One of my worst restaurant experiences ever! One star for the desert only. Went there for our date night last night ,We were offered only one drink as we sat down then not again for the two and a half hours we were there. The server forgot to turn on the burner for our cheese fondue, and then argued with us when we finished the cheese (still cold) that we were on desert when she had not brought us our entrees. Probably the worst service I have had in a restaurant in years. Was so looking forward to a great experience and left VERY UNDERWHELMED! Not to mention the server handed me the credit card machine already at the 15 % tip percentage page, should have left a 0% tip.

This is no place to run in for a quick meal. This is an experience of cooking your own food the way you like it. $156 before tip for 2 people so although its a fun night out its WAY too expensive for what you get.

The customer service is more than wonderful. My first time going but won't be my last. The fact we cook our own food makes it fun while working up an appetite.

Had a wonderful date night. Our waitress, Diana, made the experience particularly pleasant. Everything was perfect for us!

Good food. Menu is a bit on the complicated side, dont waste your time...you'd be surprised how much of the 2hrs you actually need to finish.

Had a great time and a lot of fun for a solid Monday night. Lauren was an excellent server and balanced a full dining room very well. Service was intimate with the fondue needing constant attention. Staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Will definitely bring some other people back again.

Food was good and the waiter does his best to provide service when he's the only server. Not all menu items were availabe. Still a good experience and i would go back.
