This is by far one of my most favorite restaurants in Barrie. Their food is hands down, amazing. Although simple dishes, they all taste wonderful and are truly made by those who thrive on home cooking style of food. Always great food made in a family run atmosphere. family run and maintained . Have been a fateful customer for over twenty years. I would HIGHLY recommend going here and trying it out if you haven't already!

We ordered the Lasagna special for pickup. We were told it would be 30 minutes. When we got there the door was locked and no instructions on where to go or what to do. After knocking on the door we were told our order would be 5 minutes longer. After 5 minutes we were told it would be another 10 minutes. Finally we received our meal in the parking lot and headed home. The food was very good with a homestyle taste.

Everything we order there is fantastic! The lasagna is my absolute favourite. My husband loves the fettuccine. The Caesar salad is the best ( especially the dressing ). We love the cheese garlic bread. We’ve been there many many times and never are disappointed. The prices are reasonable. Don’t forget the pasta and everything there is made from scratch. We love to support local and this restaurant has served Barrie for many decades.

Just finished a plate of spaghetti with a caesar salad and delicious garlic bread. This is a family favorite, large portions for lunch leftovers the next day. Service is always fantastic too!

Wife and I got the spaghetti special on Mother's Day. We've had Nino's before (6 years ago) and it was amazing. Living in Angus, we don't order from Barries east end often. This time there was definitely something left to be desired. The spaghetti was very bland. The sauce had ok flavour but was very watered down. The garlic bread was a brick and actually cut my gum when chewing it. As other reviewer pointed out the Caesar salad dressing is extremely garlicky. We had to add some store bought dressing to tone it down. We also ordered the mushrooms with the spaghetti sauce and when we opened the container it was literally a coke mushrooms cut and put on the top. I Daley expected them to be blended into the sauce, not just sitting on the top. I'm giving 3 stars for the flavour and how it's still homemade. That's rare these days. Now, if they could only deal with the garlic bread freshness.
