Big Disappointment kept the doggy bag for the dogs,please Hire new management it would help at least half the problem. NO longer a restaurant my family and friends are excited to go to. I agree with the other reviews on professionalism in the work place. the food isn’t what it used to be, it’s quite sad.Try ‘The North Restaurant ‘ or even ‘State & Main’ or ‘The Farm House’ there’s so many BETTER options when you’re stuck in Barrie and having a get together. DONT settle for less.

Birthday dinner with the parents. Booked in advance and had reservations. Requested a booth and asked again when we arrived. We got a table even after waiting and saw several booths free in our area. I don’t ask to be moved as I review honestly. I ordered the standard for me - Large prime rib ( and it was BIG) and as rare as possible. Loaded baked. Do not order the twice baked. See my last review. Food was great and on point for everyone but it should be at the price point. Desserts were messed up (wrong desserts) but great / first world problems right???. Ordered crème brule but got some ice cream pie instead. It was still pretty good so didn’t complain. Server was super nice. Drinks (beer/ 40 creek and coke) were well poured and nice and cold. My old man’s beer was cold and frosty. One weird thing - we saw on Open table that there is a 1.5 hr limit for tables under 4. I find that damn pathetic. We stayed 2 hrs and no one said a thing / luckily. Maybe the keg can amend their seating policy. No pics. Sorry. I eat my chow but trust me. It was pretty good. Bill was 280 for 3. So not cheap.

Over the years I have seen a decline in the value of the food. Smaller portions higher prices. I am sure that is everywhere but I always thought the Keg to be a higher valued restaurant. Now it’s average.

Not good at all! Ceaser salad had 2 stale croutons..yes just 2 croutons..no bacon or onion..completely tasteless and at $15 a plate that's disgusting! The $23 burger was also not worth the money..again tasteless! Will never go back!

One of the best steak houses I have ever been! The staff is super friendly and warm. They do their best to offer the best service they can! The foods are so fresh, tasty and deicious! The steaks … number 1!Parking: The plaza is a bit packed and almoat full over weekends.
